  • Patent number: 9395836
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes arranging a touch sensor over a first side of a display. The touch sensor comprising a first portion and a second portion. The first portion comprising a plurality of electrodes. The second portion comprising a plurality of tracks and a first plurality of connection pads. The method further includes folding the touch sensor around the display such that the second portion of the touch sensor is situated on a second side of the display. The second side of the display different than the first side of the display. Also, the method includes electrically coupling the first plurality of connection pads to a second plurality of connection pads. The second plurality of connection pads configured to be electrically coupled to a controller.

  • Patent number: 9213455
Abstract: In one embodiment, at least one resonant circuit in a stylus receives a first signal from a touch sensor of a device. The first signal is received at the resonant circuit by capacitive coupling between the resonant circuit and a conductive element of the device's touch sensor. A second signal based on the first signal and at least one of the at least one resonant circuit is then transmitted from the stylus to the device by capacitive coupling between the stylus and the touch sensor of the device.

  • Publication number: 20070094325
Abstract: Hybrid peer-to-peer data communication and management is described, including querying a plurality of elements in an environment for state data, the state data describes a state of the environment and an activity occurring in the environment, receiving the state data from one or more of the plurality of elements in response to the querying, analyzing the state data to determine an environmental change, the updated state data is generated describing the environmental change, and using the updated state data to modify the environment by dynamically allocating the plurality of elements to process a simulation, the plurality of elements being dynamically allocated based on available processing capacity provided by the plurality of elements.

  • Patent number: 5575097
Abstract: A page turning device for use with any bound pages such as books, music scores, or binders, which have small ferrous elements (14) attached to the edge of each page. The device uses a motorized arm (16) with a magnetic tab (17) mounted on the end to engage individual pages and turn them in either the forward or reverse direction. The magnetic tab (17) is raised during a page turn, but rests in a downward position between page turns so as to not interfere with manual manipulation of the pages. The device further incorporates foot actuated user switches (12,13) which control the mode of operation and cause the device to turn a page in the appropriate direction.
