The method may include blocking a portion of any Ghrelin activity in the bloodstream of the mammalian. The method may include the reducing of Gastric volume of a mammalian stomach by the steps of: reducing serum Ghrelin levels in the Gastric cells of said mammalian stomach. The appetite suppression may occur preprandially.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a method and apparatus such as a hand-manipulable, clitoral stimulant-applying applicator for use to apply a clitoral stimulating compound to the clitoral area of the human female. A reservoir in the apparatus is arranged for containment of a clitoral stimulating compound, with a clitoral stimulating compound in said reservoir. A removable cover is arranged on the reservoir to expose the compound to permit the compound to be applied topically.

Abstract: A method to increase both the libido and sexual responsiveness in a mammalian female. The method comprises the steps of administering a compound having a combination of DHEA, Yohimbe and L-arginine to that female. When a woman's decreased or absent libido, currently referred to in the medical literature as hypoactive sexual desire, is believed in the gynecologic/urologic communities to be caused by a decreased ‘testosterone effect’, such treatment may be beneficial. This decreased ‘testosterone effect’ can be due to normal aging, contraceptive medications, anti-depressant medication, a lowered cholesterol diet or a decreased percentage of body fat as a result of a rigorous exercise regime. The device comprises a housing having a first end wall and a second end, the housing defining a chamber, a movable support arrangement arranged within the chamber, and a needle extending through the first end wall. The needle has a sharpened proximal end disposed within the chamber and a second sharpened distalmost end. A trigger mechanism is connected to the movable support arrangement, and at least one vacuum cartridge is arranged on the support arrangement. Displacement of the support arrangement effects mating of the cartridge and the proximal end of the needle to cause a suction at the second end of the needle to permit an ovum to be withdrawn from a follicle and suctioned into the cartridge prior to further treatment thereof.

Abstract: An instrument for the penetration of tissue, including a backstop assembly having a shaft and a backstop; and a penetration member slidingly engaged with the backstop shaft, and configured for penetrating tissue. The backstop assembly and the penetration member are configured such that the backstop may be positioned adjacent tissue to be penetrated, such that as the penetration member is urged through the tissue along the backstop shaft, the backstop will limit the depth of penetration of the penetration member through the tissue. A method of using this instrument is also provided.
