Abstract: A method for forming an overwrap container includes the steps of a) providing a base container having a first side seam on a side wall that extends along a longitudinal axis to define an internal volume, and a bottom secured to the side wall; b) providing the side wall of the base container with connecting elements on an outer periphery of the side wall; c) providing an overwrap having a second side seam over the side wall of the base container such that the overwrap is joined in spaced apart relationship by the connecting elements to the side wall of the base container; d) clamping the overwrap to the base container along the second side seam to form a first compressed area; e) clamping the overwrap to the base container in an area 180° removed from the second side seam to form a second compressed area: and f) reforming the second compressed area to define an overwrap container having a substantially uniform spacing and air gap between the base container and the overwrap except in the first compressed area.

The system incorporates improved shutter manufacturing and a light blocking element along the sides of the louvers to block light from passing between the shutter frame and the louvers. Abstract: A nestable beverage cup is preferably formed of two tapered sections. A lower section is sized to fit a cup holder such as used in a vehicle, while an upper section which is not held in the cup holder is provided with a larger diameter than the lower section, and is more broadly tapered to hold a greater volume of fluid. The lower section has a flattened rim which is ultrasonically sealed to the bottom of the upper section. A recessed bottom of the upper section provides an air gap which will insulate the user from the surface of the lower section. The two stage cup contemplates designs with various sidewalls, angles, shapes and raw materials.

Abstract: An oil nozzle allows for oil to be poured into an engine without the spillage and waste commonly accompanying oil pouring from conventional threaded containers. By use of the tightening member a threaded oil container is attached to the oil nozzle in its closed position and positioned on top of an oil receiving port of an engine. The oil container is pushed downward which opens the oil nozzle and allows oil flow from the container into the oil port. After a desired amount of oil has been dispensed, downward pressure is applied to the shut-off handle which seals the nozzle in its closed position.

Abstract: A system wherein dynamic capability is incorporated into direct view storage tube terminals to provide both refreshed and stored information. More specifically, the system incorporates dynamic picture capability into direct view storage tubes by utilizing a constant rate vector generator, a high speed deflection system and a local digital memory operating simultaneously to enable refreshed and stored vectors to be simultaneously displayed.
