  • Publication number: 20080116093
Abstract: An apparatus for storing an insertion tube in a remote video inspection system, comprising a container having an interior volume bounded by an inner curved surface and an outer curved surface, a first endplate substantially perpendicular to and supporting a first end of the container, a second endplate substantially perpendicular to and supporting a second end of the container, and an opening in the first endplate aligned with the interior volume of the container, wherein the opening is configured to allow insertion of a first end of the insertion tube through the opening towards the outer curved surface of the container.

  • Publication number: 20070156018
Abstract: An apparatus for storing at least one elongated and flexible object, such as an insertion tube that functions as a portion of an endoscope or a borescope device. The apparatus includes a rotating storage carousel having a base and a peripheral barrier. An elongated and flexible object, such as an insertion tube, is stored along the inner side of the peripheral barrier and the base. The storage cavity of the carousel rotates while accepting the transfer of the elongated and flexible object for storage.

  • Publication number: 20060168809
Abstract: The apparatus includes a track mounted in the inlet of a compressor. A manipulator is mounted for movement about the track and carries three modules, the last of which mounts a tool head for movement in a Cartesian coordinate system and about the track. A measuring head measures the location of the airfoil surface. An abrading tool mounted on the third module removes surface material from the airfoil. Subsequently, a shot-peening device, either a flapper with embedded shot or free shot is impacted against the abraded surface to strengthen the surface. Final inspection is performed by a light and camera head mounted on the third module.

  • Patent number: 7021675
Abstract: A swivel assembly for use with a water gun mounted on a base or coupled to a water supply conduit to discharge a high velocity stream of water into a mineral stockpile and slurry pit, the swivel assembly comprises a stationary swivel section and a rotatably swivel section configured and disposed to operatively support a bearing including a stationary bearing section and a rotatable bearing section therebetween to facilitate rotation of the water gun relative to the base or the water supply conduit to selectively control the direction of the high velocity stream of water relative to the mineral stockpile.

  • Publication number: 20050181743
Abstract: An infant safety monitoring device that monitors a transmitters coded radio frequency (RF) signal mounted on an infants vehicle safety seat to a matched RF decoding receiver; that a vehicle driver would carry. This RF transmission and receiving system can operate between 902 and 928 MHz with 916 MHz being the norm, and will sound an audible alarm when the a driver has exceeded an approximate safe distance of 40 feet from their child. The system uses paired hardwired ID addressing to allow for low interfere and providing security with the coded narrow band signal. The coupled units provide monitoring and warning of excessive separation distances between a driver with the receiver and their child in their infant safety seat. The system will help prevent a child from being inadvertently left in a vehicle unattended while the driver strays away.

  • Patent number: 4115907
Abstract: A process and apparatus for the continuous production of heat-set, crimped, thermoplastic filaments by passing a tow of filaments through a stuffer box crimper and then a heat setting device attached to the exit of the crimper. The tow in the crimping chamber is cooled to a temperature not exceeding 100.degree. C in order to separate the heat setting and crimping processes, whereby the crimp ratio may be varied by adjusting the temperature of the tow in the crimping chamber.
