Patent number: 9163783Abstract: An adjustable television ceiling mounting system attaches to an exposed ceiling board surface, and is secured by an adjustable joist support bracket mounting system. The adjustable television ceiling mounting system is capable of securely tilting, swiveling, extending, and retracting up and parallel to an exposed ceiling board surface. The adjustable television ceiling mount utilizes two motors and a hydraulic cylinder to power a retracting arm and a swiveling arm by remote control. The adjustable television ceiling mounting system can be positioned anywhere on the exposed ceiling board surface and is capable of supporting televisions greater than 50 pounds and maneuvering them easily and securely due to the supporting adjustable joist support bracket mounting system.Type: GrantFiled: April 24, 2013Date of Patent: October 20, 2015Inventor: Ronald McLaughlin

Publication number: 20060257350Abstract: Disclosed is a shaving composition, preferably a shaving composition in the form of a post-foaming gel, that includes a combination of three types of lubricants. The three lubricants are selected from: (a) a lubricious water soluble polymer; (b) water insoluble particles; and (c) a hydrogel-forming (or water swellable) polymer. In particular the shaving composition comprises, in percent by weight, about 60% to about 93%, preferably about 70% to about 85%, water, about 2% to about 25%, preferably about 5% to about 20%, water dispersible (or soluble) surface active agent, about 0.005% to about 2%, preferably about 0.01% to about 0.5%, lubricious water soluble polymer, about 0.01% to about 3%, preferably about 0.1% to about 1%, water insoluble particles, and about 0.0005% to about 3%, preferably about 0.001% to about 0.5%, hydrogel-forming polymer.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 13, 2005Publication date: November 16, 2006Inventors: Ali Alwattari, Ronald McLaughlin

Publication number: 20060186590Abstract: A pivot bushing for a suspension system has an inner metal and a split outer metal with an elastomeric bushing disposed between the metals. The split outer metal has one end which is partially closed by an inwardly curved portion and one end which is open. The assembly of the bushing is through the open end. Once assembled the open end is closed by placing a cover over the open end and crimping the cover to a flange formed at the open end. In another embodiment, the cover is inserted into the outer metal and the split outer metal is crimped to secure the cover in place.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 30, 2006Publication date: August 24, 2006Applicant: The Pullman CompanyInventors: Ronald McLaughlin, Jeff Raymond

Publication number: 20060171775Abstract: An improved method of manufacture for an isolated cross-axis ball joint, utilized in an articulated torque-rod end, wherein an isolated outer cylindrical element is chemically mold bonded to a pre-curled intermediate sleeve to provide isolation there from. The inner bearing element is comprised of a heat-treated spherical inner sleeve that rotates upon two lubricated plastic bearing races and two seals with encapsulated steel washers in each seal. The intermediate sleeve is pre-curled or manufactured at one end so as to retain a first seal. The first bearing race is then dropped in, followed by the heat-treated spherical inner sleeve, followed by the second ball race and the second seal. The second end of the intermediate sleeve is then fixed by compression and implementation of a retaining means, such as curling to close the bearing element. The seals provide the wear compensation of the ball joint by adding compression after the fixing of the intermediate sleeve.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 31, 2005Publication date: August 3, 2006Inventors: Ronald McLaughlin, Matthew Wieczorek
