  • Patent number: 5958538
Abstract: A floor mat system having a plurality of floor mats and a frame assembly. The floor mats are formed by a series of parallel spaced first ribs intregally formed with a series of parallel spaced second ribs forming rectangular openings therebetween. Certain of the second ribs include an enlarged bottom end which support the floor mat above the floor and form a drainage area beneath the floor mats. A frame assembly includes inner and outer frame members which extend between and around the floor mats, respectively. Each of the inner and outer frame members is formed with a seal receiving recess for optionally and selectively receiving a seal. The seals may be selectively inserted within the recesses to direct and disperse water beneath the floor mats. The floor mats are easily removed from within the frame assembly by lifting the floor mats from within the wells allowing the water and debris to be cleaned therefrom.

  • Patent number: 5882764
Abstract: A floor mat system and clip for use therewith can be installed to any floor and includes a floor mat formed from a series of first and second criscrossed ribs which form rectangular-shaped openings therebetween, and clip having a rectangular-shape base and four outwardly extending raised projections. Certain of the second ribs have an enlarged bottom which forms a latching shoulder on each side thereof. The projections of the clip have a generally triangular-shaped end which snap-fits with the latching shoulder of the certain second ribs and which aligns with certain of the openings of the floor mat. A pair of holes are formed in the clip which align with other of the openings of the floor mat when attached thereto.

  • Patent number: 4796399
Abstract: An improved combination walk-off and fatigue mat constitutes an improvement over the mat of U.S. Pat. No. 3,703,059 in the provision of three additional structural features, namely tertiary ribs which prevent the upper ribs from spreading apart and catching spiked heels, pile carpet strips to better clean the bottoms of wet shoes, and separately molded clip elements to mechanically hold the fabric pile strips in place between adjacent top ribs.

  • Patent number: 4335839
Abstract: A carrier for releasably receiving, retaining, carrying and hanging hook portions of a plurality of coat hangers includes a C-shaped member having upper and lower portions which overlie each other and which extend substantially in a common plane. The upper leg portion is of sufficient size relative to the size of one's hand to effectively distribute the load of a plurality of garment-carrying hangers across the width of one's hand. The lower leg portion is provided with two openings which extend substantially perpendicular to at least a part of the lower leg portion. One of these openings serves to releasably receive and retain hook portions of a plurality of hangers with such hangers extending substantially perpendicular to the common plane. The other of these openings receives a ring for supporting the carrier on a wall-mounted hook.

The upper leg portion is of sufficient size relative to the size of one's hand to effectively distribute the load of a plurality of garment-carrying hangers across the width of one's hand. The lower leg portion is provided with a hanger-hook receiving structure which defines an opening extending parallel to at least a part of the lower leg portion for releasably receiving and retaining hook portions of a plurality of hangers with such hangers extending substantially within the common plane. In one embodiment, the receiving structure includes a depending formation defining the opening into which a plurality of hanger-hooks are insertable.

  • Patent number: 4279366
Abstract: A carrier for releasably receiving, retaining, carrying and hanging a pair of roller skates includes a C-shaped handle having upper and lower leg portions which overlie each other and which extend substantially in a common plane. The upper leg portion is of sufficient size relative to the size of one's hand to effectively distribute the load of a pair of roller skates across the width of one's hand. The lower leg portion is provided with an opening through which a shaft extends in a direction substantially perpendicular to at least a part of the lower leg portion. Opposite end regions of the shaft project from opposite sides of the opening. Two separate pairs of hook-shaped arm members are carried on opposite end regions of the shaft. Each pair includes arm members located on opposite sides of the C-shaped handle for engaging a rear axle of a skate.
