  • Patent number: 6661742
Abstract: A trolling motor system includes a lower propulsion unit and a transducer assembly. The lower propulsion unit has an external cavity extending into the lower propulsion unit. The transducer assembly includes a sonar transducer and a mount coupled to the sonar transducer. The mount releasably secures the sonar transducer within the cavity. In one exemplary embodiment, the mount includes at least one fastener releasably coupling the mount to the lower propulsion unit. In one exemplary embodiment, the mount releasably secures the sonar transducer within the lower propulsion unit proximate a rear end of the lower propulsion unit.

  • Patent number: 6254441
Abstract: A trolling motor system is disclosed. The trolling motor system includes a lower propulsion unit, a mounting mechanism adapted to be coupled to the boat and a first shaft fitting at least partially between the mounting mechanism and the lower propulsion unit. The first shaft has a non-circular cross-sectional shape. In one exemplary embodiment, the mounting mechanism is configured to mount to a boat having a longitudinal axis extending from a bow to a stern of the boat, wherein the first shaft has a longitudinal length and smaller transverse width. According to another exemplary embodiment, the first shaft has a hollow interior which receives a second shaft. A passageway is formed between the exterior of the first shaft and the exterior of the second shaft to receive the signal or power transmitting line of an underwater sonar system.

  • Patent number: 4369203
Abstract: Process for the impregnation of asbestos or other fibrous material, comprising, as a first step, impregnating, with the application of pressure, the material with a polymeric resin binder to substantially saturate the material with binder and, as a second step, applying a polymeric resin compound comprising a polymeric resin and a filler. The process of the invention substantially prevents the escape of minute fibers of asbestos into the atmosphere, and so reduces the health hazard associated with asbestos.

  • Patent number: 4169088
Abstract: The invention is directed towards an improved sealing solution and in particular anti-graffiti solutions. The solution is formed by combining a suitable polyvinyl alcohol with a solution or emulsion of acrylic resin to form a partially cross-linked shared polyvinyl alcohol/acrylic resin, catalyzed by exposure to heat and/or light. The properties of the solution are enhanced by the addition of a zinc complex solution containing zinc tetramine and/or an aldehyde donor such as formaldehyde or glyoxal.
