  • Patent number: 5354030
Abstract: A power transfer means is connected to a fixture mounting pendant or pole. At least one note of power input to the power transfer means is provided. Mounted to the power transfer means is a fixture or adjustable mounting bar construction. A retaining ring is adjustably movable along the mounting bar or beam member. One or more of said retaining rings mounted the mounting bar are able to retain accessories for the lighting system.A low voltage transfer means is provided which is easily mountable to the beam member when it is necessary to convert the lighting system to a low voltage application.

  • Patent number: 5325281
Abstract: An adjustable lighting fixture has a power transfer means interposed between a lamp holder and the point of mounting. The power transfer means has an input shaft, which may be offset from the point of mounting, such as a fixture mounting pole, or in line therewith, and an output shaft which rotates in response to the rotation of the input shaft about its own axis. When the axis of power input is in line with the point of mounting, a physical rotation of the power transfer means will cause the rotation of the lamp holder about an axis extending through the point of mounting. When the axis of power input is offset from the point of mounting, an orbital input about the axis of the power input, or in other words an orbiting of the power input shaft about the axis extending through the point of mounting, will cause rotation of the lamp holder about said axis extending through the point of mounting.

  • Patent number: 5140507
Abstract: An adjustable lighting fixture having a power transfer means, such as a gearbox, interposed between the lamp holder, such as a gimbal ring, and the point of mounting, the output shaft of the gear box connected directly to the lamp holder to rotate the same about a first axis upon rotation of the input shaft of the gearbox, and the housing of the gear box being connected to the point of mounting to rotate the same about a second axis upon rotation of the housing, thereby providing for rotation of the lamp holder so mounted about two different axis from a remote location.

  • Patent number: 5032958
Abstract: A lighting fixture of the wall wash type and being parabolic in cross-section is disclosed which has interchangeable reflector elements for directing light in any desired direction together with snap-in quickly interchangeable lighting fixtures to provide for the use of fluorescent lighting, tracking lighting, incandescent lighting or the like. The lighting fixtures are adaptable to be "ganged" together seriatim in any number needed to provide for the fixture to be of any desired length. Unique power transfer means are provided to provide for electrically connecting the joined lighting fixtures.

  • Patent number: 4591957
Abstract: A lighting fixture which includes, in combination, a housing for a fluorescent lamp, and a lighting track for supporting a track fixture. The track is attached to and supported by the housing of the fluorescent fixture and extends along a sidewall of the housing to present an appearance which is aesthetically pleasing. Optionally, two lighting tracks may be used, one extending along each of opposed sidewalls of the housing. The invention provides the option of using track lighting, including spotlighting, which may be oriented and directed to augment and to enhance more general illumination provided by the fluorescent lamps. The fluorescent lamp and the incandescent track light are fed by a single power supply.
