Patent number: 12135596Abstract: A voltage regulator system of an information handling system includes a Smart Power Stage (SPS) and a voltage regulator controller. The SPS includes a high-side transistor and a low-side transistor. The voltage regulator controller detects a normal power down of the information handling system and sets bleed state for the SPS to a first state. Based on the bleed state being set to the first state, the voltage regulator controller provides a first control voltage to the low-side transistor and a second control voltage to the high-side transistor. The first control voltage causes the low-side transistor to be fully turned on, and the second control voltage causes the high-side transistor to be in a linear region. In response to a predetermined amount of time expiring, the voltage regulator controller enters the SPS in an idle mode.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2022Date of Patent: November 5, 2024Assignee: Dell Products L.P.Inventors: James L. Patent number: 11193991Abstract: The following relates generally to ensuring patient safety while operating a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine. Many MRI systems operate using: fiber optic cables to carry signals, electrically conductive cables to carry other signals, and radio frequency (RF) coils to create an electromagnetic field. Typically, the electrically conductive cables and RF coils do not interact in a way that causes harm to a patient. However, certain shapes and/or lengths of cables exhibit the phenomenon of “resonance” that increases their propensity to concentrate RF currents induced by the RF coils. This may increase the temperature of the cable or other component in the MRI system leading to patient harm. The methods disclosed herein provide a solution to this by sensing a shape of the fiber optic cable and determining if the fiber optic cable will exhibit resonance. If it is determined that resonance may potentially occur, an alarm may be generated or a radio frequency amplifier may be interlocked.Type: GrantFiled: November 30, 2015Date of Patent: December 7, 2021Assignee: Koninklijke Philips N.V.Inventors: Francis Patrick O'Neill, Ronald Paul Consilgio

Publication number: 20210334682Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for training a machine learning model to select a route for performing tasks in a target set of inventory tasks. The machine learning model may be trained by obtaining training data sets that include characteristics of previously performed tasks by one or more task performers. Example characteristics may include locations associated with the previously performed tasks, a duration of time taken to perform the previous tasks, a route taken to perform the tasks, a sequence in which tasks a set of tasks were performed, and attributes of the task performers themselves. The machine learning model may be trained using these training data sets and the applied to a received set of target tasks. The trained machine learning model may then generate a route and/or sequence in which the tasks of the target set of tasks may be performed.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 31, 2021Publication date: October 28, 2021Applicant: Oracle International CorporationInventors: Jennifer Darmour, Loretta Marie Grande, Ronald Paul Lapurga Viernes, Jingyi Han, Nicole Santina Giovanetti, Jason Wong, Min Hye Kim
