  • Publication number: 20100075277
Abstract: Implant structure consisting of an implant and an attachment. The attachment is provided with a first coupling part for connection to the implant and provided with a second coupling part for connection to a prosthesis. The second coupling part may include a ball, cone, polygon or cylinder or the like. It is proposed, according to the invention, to construct the attachment from two connectable attachment parts. In this manner, it is possible to achieve an angled attachment which ensures good accessibility to the connecting screw of the first coupling part without special openings having to be provided in the attachment. In addition, the angle between the two attachment parts can readily be changed to suit requirements by varying only one of the attachment parts. After fitting, a structure with a smooth wall is produced.

  • Patent number: 6203324
Abstract: A series of dental implants is proposed, each of which is stepped, the drill diameter for the largest step section of the smaller implant corresponding to the drill diameter for the smaller stepped section of the subsequent larger implant. The invention also relates to a dental implant consisting of a stepped shaft section provided close to the superstructure end with an external engagement surface for fitting the superstructure thereover. A collar, joined to the shaft section, extends around the external engagement surface at some distance therefrom. The internal surface thereof is conically divergent with respect to the axis of the shaft section and part of the superstructure can be placed in a stable manner in the space delimited between the inner surface of the collar and the external engagement surface.
