Abstract: A non-aerosol dispensing overcap closure (12) for a container (11) filled with a fluid medium is composed of a (A) dispenser/container seal unit (13) which both seals the open end (15) of the container (11) and contains a non-aerosol means (31-34) for dispensing the fluid medium within the container (11) and further contains at least one flange (38) extending from an exterior wall of the seal unit (13) for receiving (B) a shroud member (14) which overlies the seal unit and through which the dispensing means (31-34) extends to permit the fluid medium to pass through the shroud member (14). The shroud member (14) is adapted to form an integral portion of the container (11) and thus aesthetically blends in with the design of the container (11) to form an attractive non-aerosol container package (10).

Abstract: A side dispensing-closure for a container wherein the dispensing-closure is made of a resilient plastic and includes a dispenser which is integral with a container cap for closing the container. The dispenser includes a recess in the top surface of the container cap for housing a dispensing orifice and a fluid passageway between the interior of the container and the dispensing orifice. A cover attached at one end of the recess encloses the dispenser orifice and fluid passageway and includes a plug extending from the underside of the top surface thereof which is mated with an opening in the passageway to open and close the passageway leading to the orifice when the cover is open or closed to provide a dispensing and non-dispensing position. The dispenser can be readily operated to dispense a material from the container while the cap is retained in place on the container.

Abstract: A device for dispensing air-treating vapors having a frame, two relatively movable support members comprising the frame having facing, substantially parallel support surfaces and being relatively movable to adjust the spacing between the surfaces, and a flexible, generally flat dispensing pouch sandwiched between the support surfaces. The dispensing pouch, which will have a burstable inner storage container of flowable air-treating composition, will be of a size to extend beyond the outer border of grill units of the two support members with peripheral portions of the support members being in the form of reservoirs for any of the air-treating composition which may flow out of the periphery of the pouch beyond the outer border of the grill units.
