  • Patent number: 11583670
Abstract: A catheter directionally conducts a pulsating body fluid and has a line segment defining an inner volume. A pump chamber section is arranged proximally as an extension of the line segment and defines a pump chamber having a frame therein accommodating a balloon. A first opening connects the inner volume to an external volume and a second opening is arranged proximally from the first opening to connect the inner volume to the external volume. A check valve is assigned to the second opening and the check valve includes a valve foil having an aperture formed therein offset from the second opening. A third opening communicates with the pump chamber. The frame is of a shape memory material which provides rigidity for a pulsatile operation of the balloon. During operation, the pulsating body fluid is conveyed in the inner volume directionally between the first and second opening by operating the balloon.

  • Patent number: 10512714
Abstract: The invention relates to a catheter for the directional conductance of a body fluid, particularly blood. The catheter includes a line segment which has a film tube defining an inner volume. A first port connects the inner volume to an external volume and a second port, arranged distally from the first port, connects the inner volume with the external volume. During operation of the catheter, the body fluid is conducted in the inner volume directionally between the first and second ports. The line segment includes a reinforcement running in the interior of the film tube. The film tube has a foldable section, a connecting region whereat the film tube is connected to the reinforcement, and a stabilized section having a structured profile.

  • Publication number: 20170056574
Abstract: A catheter for the directional conveyance of a fluid, in particular a body fluid, is provided. The catheter includes a sleeve having an internal space and a frame. The sleeve has at least three openings and is configured at least in a region between the first opening and the second opening as a conduit for the fluid. A check valve is arranged at the second opening. The check valve includes a valve foil which is at least partially attached to the sleeve such that the second opening can be completely covered by the valve foil.

  • Publication number: 20060125433
Abstract: An electric device includes a motor and a motor drive for commanding a torque generated by the motor. A fault control circuit detects a fault condition associated with the motor drive. Upon detection of the fault condition, the fault control circuit adjusts the torque commanded by the motor drive.

  • Patent number: 7039197
Abstract: An improved user interface is installed in the cabin of a vehicle incorporating a cabin communication system using acoustic echo cancellation for improving the ease and flexibility of the cabin communication. Separate controls at each seat location enable the person occupying that seat to selectively converse with other occupants in the vehicle, create a recorded message and/or place a telephone call.

  • Patent number: 6062635
Abstract: A plastic air duct is attached to a headliner surface. The plastic air duct is generally u-shaped and communicates air from an air supply to openings through the headliner. The use of the molded plastic part reduces the overall weight and cost of the headliner. Also, the plastic duct can be formed to have precisely designed structure such that a more precise control over the final shape of the duct is provided.

  • Patent number: 6001245
Abstract: A process for separating oil from a lubricant composition containing solid particles. The contaminated lubricant composition is mixed with liquid or supercritical CO.sub.2 before the lubricant composition and CO.sub.2 mixture is filtered through a filter medium. The CO.sub.2 is then evaporated, leaving an oil residue. Mixing the lubricant composition with CO.sub.2 before filtration prevents the filter medium from being blinded by solid particles.

  • Patent number: 5938927
Abstract: Oil and oil additives separated from a contaminated solid particulate filter medium, preferably diatomaceous earth particles. Portions of a mixture of oil, oil additives and the filter medium are compressed into pellets that are extracted with liquid or supercritical CO.sub.2 to form a liquid solution. The solution is separated from the pellets and then heated to 20.degree.-60.degree. C. at a superatmospheric pressure to drive off CO.sub.2 gas, which is preferably recycled by compression into liquid or supercritical CO.sub.2.
