The present invention results in waste that is more suitable for use as a fertilizer and meets the standard for vector attraction reduction (VAR) as established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The method includes the application of MITC generating compounds, such as metam sodium, to organic waste material, resulting in the generation of MITC. The MITC generated by the process of the present invention results in a loss of attraction for organic waste material normally experienced by disease-transmitting pests such as flies and rodents.

Customers who posted comments are contacted with an invitation to provide more details regarding the comment. A link to the brand's website or to a specific feedback application is provided to the customer. Once the customer logs in to either the website or the application, the customer can provide more details regarding the comment and this feedback is assigned a ticket. The feedback associated with the ticket is then routed based on the content of the feedback.

Abstract: A process for treating sewage sludge with percent solids less than 20 percent comprises (1) contacting sewage sludge that contains undesirable microorganisms with at least one compound that produces methyl isothiocyanate in water to form a reaction mixture, (2) mixing the reaction mixture, and (3) maintaining the reaction mixture in a closed vessel for at least about two hours. After the reaction mixture is maintained in a closed vessel for the desired time, the closed vessel can be vented to the atmosphere for a time sufficient to dissipate residual methyl isothiocyanate from the reaction mixture.

Also disclosed is a method for monitoring and controlling termite infestations which comprises the steps of a) preparing such a composition; b) placing the composition in a bait station; c) monitoring the station at periodic time intervals for termites; and d) upon observing termite infestation in the bait station, replacing the above composition with a bait composition containing a termite killing agent.
