  • Patent number: 7613362
Abstract: Method for warping first and second overlapping images includes selecting a first set of points in a first image, the first set of points being located in an overlap region between first and second images; selecting a set of tie points in the second image, including individual tie points each of which correlates to a point in the first set of points; selecting from the first image a patch including at least one point from the first set of points and at least one neighboring point; performing shadow detection to determine a percentage of the patch exceeding a predetermined percentage, thereby indicating a shadow; if so, eliminating the at least one point so that it is not correlated with any of the individual tie points, thereby avoiding correlating the shadow in the first image to a shadow in the second image.

  • Patent number: 6053437
Abstract: An electrostatic, liquid spray, rotary atomizer has an atomizer housing, a power supply within the housing and an atomizer cup at a front end of the housing. The atomizer cup, which is formed of a non-conductive material, has several elongate conductive pathways embedded in the body of the cup. Each conductive pathway has one end exiting an outer surface at a rear end of the cup for receiving the charge from the power supply and another end exiting an inner surface at a front end of the cup for conveying an electrical charge from the power supply to the liquid (paint) particles passing through the atomizer cup. A number of conductive extensions are embedded in a frustroconical front portion of the cup.

An electrode is provided for maintaining a small voltage at the access hole.

  • Patent number: 5363558
Abstract: Disclosed is a hand held, cordless electric, coping saw, which has a "U"-frame with a handle at one end of the "U". A battery and motor power the saw. The blade of the saw is endless and is round cylinder-type flexible blade trained in a generally rectangular loop about four wheels, one mounted in each corner of the "U", three of them idle wheels and one of them functioning as the drive wheel. The drive wheel is located at the handle end corner of the "U". At the other end of the "U", the frame has a "floating" corner piece housing one of the idler wheels and being spring biased away from the main part of the frame to provide saw blade tensioning.
