  • Patent number: 12464227
Abstract: A server performs a method for automatically provisioning an electronic device installed at an installation location. The server receives (e.g., from a mobile application) information relating to installation of the electronic device at the installation location. The installation information includes at least one image captured at the installation location. The server determines whether location information for the electronic device was received from the electronic device after the device was installed. Responsive to determining that location information for the electronic device was not so received, the server determines whether the at least one image includes geolocation metadata. When the at least one image includes geolocation metadata, the server determines the geolocation of the electronic device based on the geolocation metadata.

  • Publication number: 20240390595
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electronic system (100) for a drug delivery device (1), in which a first member (20) performs a specific movement relative to a second member (11) during a dosing operation. The electronic system (100) comprises a sensor arrangement (120), which is operable to provide sensor data describing the specific movement and is configured to operate the sensor arrangement (120) during at least one part of the dosing operation to provide sensor data. In order to protect the users from relying on incorrectly measured dose sizes and a need to reduce the risk that an injection is painful for the patient, the electronic system (100) is configured to determine, based on the sensor data, if a speed of the specific movement during the at least one part of the dosing operation breaches a first speed threshold.

  • Publication number: 20240223890
Abstract: A mobile device, such as a smartphone, tablet computer, or other handheld electronic device, includes a display, a camera, a memory, and a processor. The memory may store operating instructions for the processor. Such operating instructions may be in the form of preinstalled operating system software or firmware, or a downloaded mobile application. The mobile device processor is operable in accordance with the operating instructions to determine whether the mobile device has moved repeatedly (e.g., has been shaken) within a motion detection time period and, if so, activate the camera; present on the display a live image stream captured by the camera; start a timer to count down time for a countdown time period; upon expiration of the countdown time period, automatically control the camera to capture an image from the live image stream; and store an image file including the captured image in the memory.

  • Patent number: 11871873
Abstract: A manual food shredding device for shredding of a food item includes a base, an upright bowl, and an inverted bowl. The base is positionable on a substantially horizontal surface, such as a countertop. A food item can be positioned in the upright bowl, which is attached to an upper face of the base. A plurality of first spikes is attached to and extends from a bottom toward a top of the upright bowl. The inverted bowl is circumferentially larger than the upright bowl so that the upright bowl is selectively insertable into the inverted bowl. A plurality of second spikes is attached to and extends from an upper end toward a lower end of the inverted bowl. The inverted bowl can be grasped in a hand of a user and rotated by a user, thereby causing the first spikes and the second spikes to shred the food item.

  • Publication number: 20210394962
Abstract: This invention is a portable beverage cooler that dispenses two kinds of beverages within the same cooler. This is possible by dividing the cooler in the middle with a single partition to separate the two beverages. Both sides have a separate and detachable lid for adding the desired beverage. It is designed as a tall rectangle shape with handles to make it easy to carry to a location and transport from a vehicle. Durable plastic for the product material is used to keep the container weight light enough to carry. The beverage cooler is propped up at waist high onto a table for easy access. Each side of the cooler has a valve to dispense the beverage. A cup is placed below the valve to release the desired beverage into the cup. Lids can be removed separately to confine the beverage to the section, when more beverage is added to the cooler and for easy access.
