Patent number: 11659948Abstract: The disclosure provides an innovative delivery receptacle for receiving objects (such as parcels and mail) deposited into the receptacle and securely storing them once deposited. The receptacle allows for the orientation of the position of an input opening and delivery door for a delivering party, such as a courier, to deposit the objects in the receptacle to be changeable with respect to the orientation of an access opening and access door for a receiving party to remove the objects. In one embodiment, the delivery door also restricts access to the deposited objects while they are deposited into the receptacle. The receptacle may be a stand-alone receptacle or it may be a structure-mounted unit, such as installed in a wall or other structure. The receptacle may comprise a separate first and second sections that may be shipped separately and assembled with the desired orientation.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2021Date of Patent: May 30, 2023Assignee: Architectural Mailboxes, LLCInventors: Christopher Andrew Farentinos, Vanessa Felicia Troyer-Farentinos, Craig Ronald Steele, Taylor S. Patent number: 9327887Abstract: A delivery receptacle for receiving objects (such as parcels, mail or other deliveries) deposited into the receptacle at residences or other building and locations, and securing the objects within the receptacle from unauthorized access. The receptacle has an input opening and a lid which can be moved between an open position which provides access to the input opening and a closed position which covers the input opening. The receptacle has a locking mechanism which may configured for any one of a plurality of operating modes, including a single-delivery mode which does not require an access code to the lid automatically locks after the delivery and a multi-delivery mode which requires the entry of a security code into a code-operated device to unlock the lid, open the lid, place the delivery into the receptacle, and close the lid which automatically locks closed.Type: GrantFiled: May 5, 2014Date of Patent: May 3, 2016Assignee: Architectural Mailboxes, LLCInventors: Christopher Andrew Farentinos, Vanessa Felicia Troyer-Farentinos, Craig Ronald Steele, Raffy Michael Arce Paje

Patent number: 9004346Abstract: A delivery receptacle for receiving objects, such as parcels, has a housing having an input opening, a delivery door rotatably coupled to the housing for opening and closing the input opening, and a drum rotatably coupled to the housing and having a drum access opening accessible through the input opening. The delivery door is mechanically coupled to the drum such that rotation of the delivery door in a first rotational direction causes rotation of the drum in the opposite rotational direction. The delivery door is rotatable between an open position in which the drum is oriented with the drum access opening aligned with the input opening such that a parcel can be inserted into the drum, and a closed position in which the drum is oriented with the drum access opening aligned with a drop area such that a parcel will exit the drum and enter the drop area.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 2014Date of Patent: April 14, 2015Assignee: Architectural Mailboxes, LLCInventors: Christopher Andrew Farentinos, Vanessa Felicia Troyer-Farentinos, Craig Ronald Steele, Raffy Michael Arce Paje

Patent number: 8573473Abstract: A receptacle for receiving objects, such as mail or parcels, has a main housing having an input opening through which objects may be placed into the receptacle, and a hopper style door rotatable coupled within the housing. The hopper has bottom for receiving an object and a hopper cover disposed under the bottom. The hopper is rotatable between an open position in which the bottom is accessible through the opening and a closed position in which the hopper cover blocks the input opening. A flap is coupled to the hopper and is rotatable between an up position when the hopper is in the open position in which the flap forms a back wall adjacent the rear edge of the bottom, and a down position when the hopper is in the fully closed position in which the flap allows an object to slide off the bottom and out of the hopper.Type: GrantFiled: February 12, 2013Date of Patent: November 5, 2013Assignee: Architectural Mailboxes, LLCInventors: Christopher Andrews Farentinos, Craig Ronald Steele

Publication number: 20070110998Abstract: Provided by this invention is a modified synthetic polyamide polymer yarn produced by an improved melt extrusion process. Yarn of this invention are either partially oriented yarns (POY) or drawn oriented yarns. The improved process provides for modification of a polymer in a melt extruder. Following this modification of the polymer, a filament forming process step is provided which is coupled to a drawing stage prior to winding a package of yarn.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 15, 2005Publication date: May 17, 2007Inventors: Ronald Steele, Gregory D'Arcy

Publication number: 20060184448Abstract: A computerized system and method are presented for exchanging information between a buyer, a seller, and a lender. The system permits sellers and lenders to input buyers that are then submitted for activation. The buyers use the system to obtain information about items, while the sellers and lenders make consistent contact with the buyer in order to work with the buyer. Information about the buyers is shared with both the sellers and the lenders. A business plan is also input into the computerized system by the financial institution employing the lender. This business plan includes goals for numbers of sellers and buyers using the system, and for loan officer candidates to be recruited. Activity on the computerized system is calculated for compliance with the business plan. Feedback is provided to management relating to whether the business plan is being met.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 12, 2006Publication date: August 17, 2006Inventors: Stephen Polston, Aaron Vennie, Jeffery Colville, Michelle Hiller, Joan Skallman, Ronald Steele, Michael Ross

Publication number: 20060093816Abstract: The present invention is directed to a multi-filament yarn formed at least in part from filaments having cross-sectional zigzag shape with a 180 degree axis of symmetry. The filaments have a denier per filament generally in the range of about 0.1 to about 4.0. Fabrics made from yarns formed with the filaments have high moisture wicking, soft hand, and a silk-like lustrous appearance.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 19, 2005Publication date: May 4, 2006Applicant: INVISTA NORTH AMERICA S.A R.L.Inventors: Richard Shoemaker, Ronald Steele

Publication number: 20050093199Abstract: A melt extrusion spinneret plate has at least one non-circular capillary orifice for producing at least a single filament of circular cross-sectional shape. This non-circular cross-sectional shape of the extrusion capillary, when used to extrude filaments of circular cross-sectional shape, extends the spinneret wipe life by lessening the amount of thermal deposits, which extends the time between wipe cycles. As a result of increased wipe life, the productivity of the process is increased.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 31, 2003Publication date: May 5, 2005Inventors: Lance Nunley, Ronald Steele
