    Abstract: A zoom lens assembly may include lens elements, lens mounts, and an actuator. Each of the lens elements has an optical axis aligned to a common optical axis. At least one of the lens elements is a movable lens element and at least one of the lens elements is an aspheric lens element. Each of the lens elements has a lens diameter of 4 millimeters or less. The lens mounts are coupled to the lens elements and are configured to retain the lens elements in order. The actuator is coupled between the movable lens element and one of the lens mounts. The actuator is configured to selectively adjust an axial position of the movable lens element along the common optical axis. An optical zoom of the zoom lens assembly is at least 3×. A maximum axial length of the zoom lens assembly is less than 25 millimeters.
