  • Publication number: 20150109245
Abstract: A touch panel including a substrate, first electrodes and second electrodes is provided. The first electrodes and the second electrodes are electrically insulated from each other and are disposed on the substrate. Each first electrode includes first electrode pads and first connecting lines, and the first connecting lines connect adjacent two of the first electrode pads in series. Each second electrode includes second electrode pads and second connecting lines, and the second connecting lines connect adjacent two of the second electrode pads in series. An outer contour of each first electrode pad is defined by a first zigzag line, an outer contour of each second electrode pad is defined by a second zigzag line, and the first zigzag line and the second zigzag line located at a boundary between the first electrode and the second electrode are parallel or partially parallel to each other.

  • Publication number: 20150022738
Abstract: A touch panel includes a sensing electrode. The sensing electrode includes a plurality of mesh units pieced together with others. Each of the mesh units is different from at least one of adjacent mesh units in shape. Each of the mesh units has a plurality of side edges connected with one another. At least two side edges of each of the mesh units are different in length.

  • Publication number: 20140160372
Abstract: A touch panel includes a substrate, at least one first axis electrode, and at least one second axis electrode. The first axis electrode is disposed on the substrate and extends along a first direction. The first axis electrode includes at least one first mesh. The second axis electrode is disposed on the substrate and extends along a second direction. The second axis electrode includes at least one second mesh. The first axis electrode at least partially overlaps the second axis electrode along a direction perpendicular to the substrate. An aperture ratio of a region where the first axis electrode overlaps the second axis electrode is substantially equal to an aperture ratio of a region where the first axis electrode does not overlap the second axis electrode.

  • Patent number: 7466398
Abstract: An optical navigation device and a method thereof, wherein the optical navigation device comprises a pair of linear sensor arrays which are arranged non-parallel to each other for detecting light signal. Furthermore, an algorithm including correlation and vector analysis is processed by a computation unit to determine velocity and displacement according to present and previous light signal data sequences. Hence, the linear sensor arrays adapted to be the approach of navigation device can achieve the goal of reducing the computing data, increasing operation speed effectively and reducing hardware cost because of its fewer optically sensitive elements.
