    Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing and two contact modules. The insulative housing has a bottom mounting portion having a cavity opening downwardly and a mating portion, the mating portion has a central mating space and a pair of side walls on both sides of the mating space, and a plurality of contact receiving passageways defined on each side wall. Each contact module has an insulator received in the cavity and a plurality of contacts insert-molded in the insulator, each contact defines a contacting arm and a soldering portion. The insulative housing defines a pair of locating portions extending downwards from two sides of the mounting portion, the distance between the pair of locating portions is smaller than an internal diameter of the cavity, a pair of demising slots are formed on an interior side of each locating portion for the contact modules passing through.

    Abstract: A pre-alignment measurement device includes, disposed in a direction of propagation of light, a laser, a first cylindrical lens, a first imaging lens, an illumination diaphragm, a second imaging lens, a second cylindrical lens and a CCD detector. The laser, an object under measurement and the CCD detector are arranged at respective apexes of a triangle formed by the measurement device for pre-alignment. A light beam is emanated by the laser and is transformed into a line beam. The line beam is reflected by the object under measurement and then passes through the second cylindrical lens to form a CCD image which has different horizontal and vertical magnifications, allowing horizontal and vertical resolutions to be matched with horizontal and vertical measuring ranges, respectively. The CCD image contains information of a position and a height of a step defined by the object under measurement and the wafer stage.

    Abstract: Evaporative heat transfer system. The system includes a substrate and a plurality of substantially parallel, spaced-apart ridges extending from the substrate forming vertical liquid manifolds therebetween. A nanoporous membrane is supported on the ridges and a pump delivers a dielectric fluid across the ridges. The fluid is drawn through the liquid manifolds via capillarity provided by the nanoporous membrane and evaporates to dissipate heat flux through the substrate. A preferred dielectric fluid is pentane. It is preferred that membrane porosity vary across the membrane to tailor thermal resistances to limit temperature rises.

The front contact tab is closer to the front mating face of the shielding shell than the front edge ends of the grounding contacts.

    Abstract: A waste collector includes a bag body and a waste collecting apparatus. The bag body, which is made of flexible material, has a top opening and a waste collecting cavity. The waste collecting apparatus includes two elongated scraper arms spacedly affixed at the bag body to partition the bag body into a first bag portion and a second bag portion. When the bag body is reversibly flipped inside out from the top opening to form a temporary waste cavity within the first bag portion of the bag body, the scraper arms are moved toward each other for enclosing the temporary waste cavity within the first bag portion of the bag body and for scraping a waste within the temporary waste cavity. Therefore, the bag body is flipped back for automatically retaining the waste in the waste collecting cavity from the temporary waste cavity.

    Abstract: Embodiments disclose a method for acquiring, by a switch deployed in a software defined network (SDN), an exact flow entry, where the SDN network includes an SDN controller and multiple SDN switches, the SDN controller being configured to communicate with each SDN switch in an inband communication manner. The method includes establishing, by a first SDN switch, a reliable connection to the SDN controller, and sending a first control message based on a packet corresponding to a protocol for the reliable connection. Path information of the first SDN switch is added to the control message. Each SDN switch that receives the first control message adds path information of each SDN switch to the first control message, so that the SDN controller is provided with an entire path, so as to deliver a flow table to the first SDN switch.

    Abstract: A method and system for performing general matrix-matrix multiplication (GEMM) operations on a graphics processor unit (GPU) using Smart kernels. During operation, the system may generate a set of kernels that includes at least one of a variable-dimension variable-K GEMM kernel, a variable-dimension constant-K GEMM kernel, or a combination thereof. A constant-K GEMM kernel performs computations for matrices with a specific value of K (e.g., the number of columns in a first matrix and the number of rows in a second matrix). Variable-dimension GEMM kernels allow for flexibility in the number of rows and columns used by a thread block to perform matrix multiplication for a sub-matrix. The system may generate rules to select the best (e.g., fastest) kernel for performing computations according to the particular parameter combination of the matrices being multiplied.

    Abstract: Systems and methods of a low cost, high strength titanium alloy are disclosed. According to illustrative implementations, the weight percent of the alloy composition may be: Fe content 3%˜7%, Al content 3%˜5%, C content 0.01%˜0.02%, with the balance being Ti and unavoidable impurities. Industrial pure iron, carbon steel, and industrial pure aluminum etc. may be used as the raw materials. In one exemplary method, the raw materials are mixed before being pressed to a block. The block may be double-melted to an alloy cast ingot, forged by a conventional titanium alloy forging process, and subsequently undergo a solid solution treatment of (820° C.˜950° C.)/1 h+water quenching, and an ageing treatment of (450° C.˜550° C.)/4 h+air cooling, wherein the mechanical properties of the alloy are that ?b=1000˜1250 MPa, ?=5%-12%.
