Patent number: 11413676Abstract: An electromagnetic stamping apparatus includes a work platform configured to load a work piece. A stamping component is coupled to the work platform and has a first position and a second position. The stamping component includes a stamping rod and a stamping head. The stamping head stamps the work piece on the first position. An electromagnetic device is coupled to the stamping rod and generates a magnetic force according to an alternating current to push the stamping component to the first position to make the stamping component stamp the work piece. A compression spring pushes the stamping component to the second position according to the restoring force of the compression spring. Wherein, the magnetic force is greater than the restoring force of the compression spring to make the stamping component stamp the work piece twice in every waveform period of the alternating current.Type: GrantFiled: January 17, 2020Date of Patent: August 16, 2022Assignee: NATIONAL TAIWAN NORMAL UNIVERSITYInventors: Shun-Tong Chen, Chao-Rong Chiang, Chien-Ta Huang

Patent number: 11290345Abstract: A method for enhancing quality of media uses an AI enhancing model built-in the client device to enhance the quality of video streams. The AI enhance module is pre-trained by using a neural network in the server to analyze differences between the decoded images and the raw images that are generated by the server. Wherein, the AI enhance module enhances decoded images by using algorithms which are defined by analyzing differences between the decoded images and the raw images. Such that, the enhanced images are visually more similar to the raw images than the decoded images do.Type: GrantFiled: February 5, 2020Date of Patent: March 29, 2022Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha UbitusInventors: Jung-Chang Kuo, Tzer-Jen Wei, An-Lun Teng, Yu-Ju Tseng, Rong Chiang

Publication number: 20120057694Abstract: Provided is a method of line-switching and connection for a connector with a combo port. The method is particularly adapted to the connector compatible with two or more link types. The method is to switch the wires to connect a specific link based on the detection of connector type. The step is firstly to initialize the system with the connector. A detecting circuit is configured to detect the type of connector which is plugged into the combo port. The detection covers the physical layer and protocol related to the plugged connector. An automatic switching process is then performed to establish a connection in compliance with the connector type chosen by a controller. In one embodiment, the connector with combo port particularly meets the requirements of connections to RJ-45 connector and RJ-11 connector. After the switching process, the adapted connection is implemented with required configurations.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 16, 2011Publication date: March 8, 2012Applicant: ARCADYAN TECHNOLOGY CORPORATIONInventors: CHIH-FANG LEE, WEI-RONG CHIANG
