Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention described and shown in the specification and drawings facilitate data packet transportation. One aspect of the invention multiplexes time-sensitive TDM (Time Division Multiplexed) and other synchronous data, and asynchronous data traffic, onto a communication channel in a manner that minimizes jitter in the delivery of the TDM data traffic while efficiently transporting asynchronous data traffic. Another aspect of the invention provides dynamic bandwidth sharing on a communication ring. The dynamic bandwidth sharing aspect of the present invention facilitates the efficient utilization of bandwidth of communication rings, particularly in those rings that cover large geographic areas.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention allow a method, device, software and apparatus to adjust a system parameter, such as a page closing time value, in order to enhance a processing device performance. For example, a method includes initializing a page closing time value by a BIOS software component. A processing device, such as a computer, operates responsive to the page closing time value. For example, the computer executes a graphic display software program. An operational value, such as a difference between page hits and page misses, is obtained while executing the software program and compared to a threshold value. The page closing time value is then adjusted responsive to the comparison. In an alternate embodiment of the present invention, an adaptive circuit is included in a memory controller and includes a first counter capable to obtain a number of page hits and a second counter capable to obtain a number of page misses.

Abstract: A circuit device is designed to illuminate a series of Christmas ornamental lights in conjunction with a plug and an integrated circuit control box. The circuit device is formed of a resistor and two serially-connected capacitors which are linked to the resistor in parallel connection for bringing about a capacitive reactance serving to lower a voltage of an external alternating current to an extent that the voltage is suitable for operation of the integrated circuit control box.

Abstract: A light-emitting device is designed to cover removably a conic roadblock and is formed of a hollow conic body and a plurality of warning units. The hollow conic body is formed of an outer fabric layer and an inner fabric layer. The warning units are disposed on the outer fabric layer of the conic body. The conic body is fitted over the conic roadblock. The warning units are provided with a light-emitting diode to make the conic roadblock vividly visible to the operator of an approaching motor vehicle.

Abstract: An illuminant triangular warning arrangement includes a clothe body and a plurality of illuminating units provided on the clothe body. Each illuminating unit provides a transparent layer, a circuit board, a casing socket, a fitting washer, a photodiode (LED), a battery box, and a manual switch. With the combination of the above elements, the illuminant triangular warning arrangement is in used, its displaying area is large enough to catch other drivers attention from far away. When the illuminant triangular warning arrangement is not in used, it can be folded into a compact package, so that it would not occupy unnecessary space in the trunk of the vehicle for easy storage.

Abstract: A test socket for an integrated circuit includes a frame body, a number of electrical contacts, two sliding plates, a mechanism for slidingly moving the sliding plates in a horizontal direction, and two elastic elements. When applying a force to the mechanism, the sliding plates slide away from each other to make each ball contact of a ball grid array integrated circuit move downwardly into an associated through-hole of the sliding plate. When the force is removed, returning forces provided by the elastic elements return the sliding plates to their close contact status, and each ball contact is born against by an associated electrical contact and thus retained in the associated through-hole of the sliding plate such that signals from the ball contacts can be outputted via the electrical contacts.

Abstract: An air-assisted fuel injection applied in the two-stroke engine of flame-jet ignition type which a fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator valve establish stable fuel rail pressure. With respect to each cylinder, a pair of fuel injection electromagnetic valve inject fuel under this pressure. The injected fuel is not directly injected into the cylinder, but is blown into main combustion chamber in the cylinder and prechamber cavity in a torch-forming plug by high speed flowing air. The ignition is performed in such a manner that the pre-mixed fuel air mixture in the prechamber cavity is first ignited by a spark discharge to form specifically shaped flame jet which is injected from one or more orifices located on lower portion of the torch-forming plug so as to successively ignite the pre-mixed fuel air mixture in the main combustion chamber.
