  • Patent number: 9049080
Abstract: The present invention relates to an injection-locked RF receiver having trifilar transformer splitter. The injection-locked RF receiver includes a trifilar transformer splitter, an injection-locked oscillator and a phase detector. The trifilar transformer splitter includes a primary winding, a secondary winding and a tertiary winding. RF input signal is input to the primary winding. The secondary winding outputs a first differential signal to the injection-locked oscillator. The tertiary winding outputs a second differential signal to the phase detector. Using the trifilar transformer splitter of the invention, the frequency-shift keying demodulation with high sensitivity is achieved, and the number of amplifier can be reduced so as to lower the power consumption of the injection-locked RF receiver and reduce the complexity of the involved system.

  • Patent number: 8231074
Abstract: A lace winding device includes a base, a spool rotatably mounted in the base, a lace having two distal ends each extending through the base and each secured on the spool, a limit barrel mounted on the base, a drive member rotatably mounted in the limit barrel and connected with the spool to rotate the spool, and a ratchet block movably mounted on the limit barrel and engaging the drive member. Thus, the drive member is rotated in one direction only by limit of the ratchet block so that the spool is driven by the drive member to rotate in the positive direction only and cannot be rotated in the opposite direction so as to wind the lace easily and quickly.

  • Publication number: 20120060371
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a two-phase flow heat sink. The two-phase flow heat sink comprises an evaporation chamber and a capillary layer. The material of the capillary layer, which has at least a porous structure, is cooled and disposed on the inner side of the evaporation chamber from a melted state. The method first sprays the thermally melted material of the capillary layer on the substrate of the evaporation chamber for forming the capillary layer on the substrate. Because the capillary layer is sprayed on the substrate of the evaporation chamber, the capillary layer is distributed irregularly on the substrate and forming irregularly distributed holes. Thereby, the flowing space for fluids in the evaporation chamber is increased, and hence enhancing the heat transfer efficiency of the heat sink.

  • Publication number: 20090209620
Abstract: CD4+ regulatory T (Treg) cells profoundly suppress host immune responses and thus protect against autoimmune disease while restricting desired immune responses such as antitumor immunity. Synthetic phosphorothioate-protected, guanosine-containing oligonucleotides can directly reverse the suppressive activity of Treg cells without involving dendritic cells. This effect appears to be transduced by signaling through Toll-like receptor (TLR) 8 and engagement of the MyD88 and IRAK4 molecules in Treg cells. Stimulation of Treg cells with natural ligands for human TLR8 recapitulated the effect of the synthetic guanosine-containing oligonucleotides .
