Publication number: 20190101296Abstract: A dual back suction type range hood includes a wind collecting case. An upper half part and a lower half part of a front surface of the wind collecting case have at least one horizontally extending elongated first air-extracting port and at least one horizontally extending elongated second air-extracting port, respectively. The first air-extracting port is parallel to the second air-extracting port, and the two are in communication with at least one air-extracting device. When the air-extracting device draws air, the total air flow passing through the second air-extracting port is greater than the total air flow passing through the first air-extracting port at a same time. As such, after the second air-extracting port draws most of airborne grease and fumes, the first air-extracting port extracts a very small amount of airborne grease and fumes flowing upwards, thus achieving complete fume exhaustion.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 29, 2017Publication date: April 4, 2019Inventor: Rong Fung HUANG

Publication number: 20120152229Abstract: A range hood capable of resisting draft is provided above a counter on the top of which an air-generation device is located. The range hood comprises an air-extraction hood that has a bottom provided with an elongate air-extraction slot for drawing air upwards. Besides, an air blow groove is provided in front of the elongate air-extraction slot for blowing air downwards. A long left upright plate and a long right upright plate are respectively provided below the left and right lateral surfaces of the air-extraction hood. Thereby, when the elongate air-extraction slot draws in air, an oblique airflow is formed. Besides, the long left and right upright plates are able to hinder the draft coming from lateral sides, so as to protect the oblique airflow structure. Consequently, an intact upwards-flowing airflow is formed to exhaust soot and harmful gases.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 1, 2011Publication date: June 21, 2012Applicant: National Taiwan University of Science and TechnologyInventor: Rong Fung Huang
