    Abstract: A high-precision analysis method for key thermal safety phenomena in a nuclear reactor based on a particle method is provided. Fine complex geometric modeling is implemented based on a multi-resolution particle method. High-order discretization of control equations is implemented using a high-order particle discretization model. Key thermal-hydraulic, mechanical deformation, chemical reaction, and neutron physics phenomena can be analyzed. An implicit and explicit hybrid solving technique and an asynchronous marching algorithm are employed.

    Abstract: A textured article is described herein that may include a glass-based substrate comprising a first major surface and a second major surface. The first major surface may be opposite the second major surface. At least a portion of the first major surface may be textured. The portion of the first major surface that is textured may have a roughness Ra of greater than or equal to 400 nm and an average pitch. A ratio of roughness Ra to average pitch may be from about 0.01 to about 0.04. At least a portion of the textured article may have an opacity of greater than about 70% or may have a coefficient of friction of from about 0.25 to about 0.4. The coefficient of friction may be measured as the kinetic coefficient of friction using a 500 g load on a foam rubber according to ASTM D1984.

    Abstract: Methods and systems are described for image segmentation. A machine learning model is applied to a set of images to generate results. The results may be obtained as a probability map for each image in the set of images. The model may be trained by accessing a set of labeled images, each image associated with a label indicating a location of a feature within a respective image. An initial set of parameters is accessed. An encoder is initialized with the initial set of parameters. The encoder is applied to the set of labeled images to generate a prediction of a feature location within each image. The initial set of parameters are updated based on the predictions and the label associated with the labeled images. The updated set of parameters and an additional set of parameters generated using a set of unlabeled images are aggregated.

A reactor keeps rated full-power operation, generated electricity is adjusted and distributed through a power controller, most of the electricity is used for smoothing the fluctuation of wind power generation, and the excess electricity is used for hydrogen storage of the hydrogen system. Solar power is used for heating saturated steam generated by the reactor into superheated steam through a heater, and then the superheated steam enters a high-pressure cylinder to do work by expansion.

During preparation, 1 mole of a micromolecular polyol is first modified with 1-3 moles of a monoepoxide so as to obtain a modified polyol; and then 2 moles of the modified polyol is reacted with 1-3 moles of a diisocyanate so as to obtain the hydroxyl-terminated resin. The prepared hydroxyl-terminated resin has the advantages of simple synthesis process, high solid content and low viscosity; the hydroxyl value thereof (at 80% solid mass content) is 140-300 mg KOH/g and the viscosity thereof at 25° C. (at 80% solid mass content) is 300-3000 cp.
