  • Publication number: 20200304563
Abstract: This application provides a method for accessing a network by an internet of things device, an apparatus, and a system. The system includes a registration server and a first cloud gateway server. The internet of things device obtains, by using a connection to the registration server, an address of the first cloud gateway server corresponding to the internet of things device from the registration server, and establishes a connection to the first cloud gateway server. Because the internet of things device obtains, by using a unified registration server, the address of the first cloud gateway server required for accessing the network, the address of the cloud gateway server does not need to be configured on the internet of things device. This reduces production complexity of the internet of things device.

  • Publication number: 20200077160
Abstract: A computer system, method, and computer-readable product for automatically generating a hierarchy of concepts described in a video using semantic concept matching that assists persons in searching for specific types of content within videos. A video segment is obtained, with the segment having a distinct running time with discrete information related to one or more topics within its content. The discrete information of the video segment is then parsed out and related to a predetermined relevant topic, and then one or more attributes for weighting each discrete information relevant topic within the video segment are determined. A hierarchy of concepts of the video segments is then created, based upon, at least, the weighting of the information topic within the running time of the video segment based upon the presence of the one or more attributes. Other information related to the video segment can also be used to modify the hierarchy.

  • Publication number: 20200019019
Abstract: A display may have a pixel array such as a liquid crystal pixel array. The pixel array may be illuminated with backlight illumination from a backlight unit. The backlight unit may include an array of light-emitting diodes and a light reflector that helps reflect light from the light-emitting diodes through the pixel array. A color conversion layer may be used to convert light from the light-emitting diodes from blue light to white light. A microlens array layer formed over the color conversion layer may spread the light from the color conversion layer to homogenize the light. To ensure light is emitted from the backlight with a uniform color, the microlens array layer may have different transmittance portions. A central portion of the microlens array layer may transmit more light and reflect less light than an edge portion of the microlens array layer.
