  • Patent number: 9720960
Abstract: A view schema is generated from a view definition, wherein the view schema includes one or more relational views that are created by translating one or more object queries in the view definition into one or more relational queries. A report design schema is generated from the view definition by: creating one or more report tables that correspond to the one or more relational views of the view schema and extending the one or more report tables with one or more primary key constraints and one or more foreign key constraints. A reporting model is generated by reverse engineering the report design schema, wherein the reporting model includes the one or more primary key constraints and the one or more foreign key constraints. A report is generated using the reporting model, wherein the report includes the one or more primary key constraints and the one or more foreign key constraints.

  • Publication number: 20160281550
Abstract: A system for lubricating a valve assembly of an engine is disclosed. The system includes a valve bridge having a base portion is disposed on a guide rod. The guide rod is received within a hole defined in the base portion of the valve bridge to define a chamber and to receive lubricant in the chamber. The valve bridge includes an arm that is engaged with a valve stem. The valve bridge includes a passage in fluidly communicating with the chamber and an end of the arm. The system includes a valve disposed around the valve stem and valve stem guide. The valve seal includes a lip member that abuts an outer surface of the valve stem to control a flow of the lubricant from the passage to a gap defined between the valve stem and the valve stem guide.

  • Patent number: 9172395
Abstract: Provided are techniques for detecting a mapping, by a universal convertor, of a first character set to a second character set and of the second character set to a third character set; monitoring, logging, and analyzing code set conversion (CSC) operations; generating an updated character set conversion module from the first character set to the third character set in response to the detecting and a determination that the CSC operation exceed the predefined threshold; and storing the updated character set conversion module for utilization of subsequent processing of the first character set to the third character set.

  • Patent number: 8924408
Abstract: An external service at a service provider server is invoked from a database by accessing from over a network a description of the external service published by the service provider external to the database. A database invocation mechanism is generated from the accessed description of the external service, wherein the database invocation mechanism comprises code within the database. A database program invokes the database invocation mechanism code within the database to invoke and interact with the external service. The database receives data from the external service in response to invoking and interacting with the external service.
