    Abstract: A graphic information positioning system for recognizing roadside features and a method using the same is disclosed. The method overlooks a road to establish a road imaging map that includes featured points. A driving environment around a vehicle is detected to obtain a point-cloud map when the vehicle runs. The method determines whether the point-cloud map includes the featured points, filters out dynamic objects, sets featured attributes of roadside featured points, and establishes positioning graphic information according to the road imaging map, the remains of the featured points of the point-cloud map, and the featured attributes. When the vehicle runs, the method recognizes at least two roadside featured points in front of the vehicle as reference points to calculate a moving-vehicle heading angle, thereby calculating the position of the moving vehicle.

    Abstract: A method for sampling and converting vehicular network data is executed by a vehicle host. The vehicle host selects one of multiple data signals from an original signal, and establishes a data table. The vehicle host further determines whether the original signal includes any data signal remaining unselected. When the original signal does not include any data signal remaining unselected, the vehicle host differentially samples data in the data table corresponding to other time sequences by using the data in the data table corresponding to a first time sequence as a reference to generate a differential data table, and compresses the differential data table. The method can reduce the amount of data by performing differential sampling, so that the compression ratio of the data can be effectively improved, and the delay of data transmission can be avoided.

    Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the present invention proposes a transmitter including a hierarchical modulator. The hierarchical modulator receives, jointed encodes, and maps a high-priority and low-priority bit-stream signals, so as to generate multiple mapping signal, wherein each mapping signal is the summation of a low-priority and high-priority mapping signals. The low-priority mapping signal is the complex number signal on the frequency domain to which part bits of the low-priority bit-stream signal are mapped, and the high-priority mapping signal is the complex number signal on the frequency domain to which part bits of the high-priority bit-stream signal are mapped. The pth low-priority mapping signal is related to (p+1)th low-priority mapping signal, and p is an even number or an odd number.
