Patent number: 6967311Abstract: A smolder pot capable of cooking food as heat source is removed. The smolder pot comprises a cooking pot. At least one heat accumulating disk is fixed to a center of a bottom of the cooking pot; the heat accumulating disk being retained with a gap from the bottom. When the bottom of the cooking pot is heat, the heat accumulating disk will be heated. Due to the gap between the heat accumulating disk and the bottom, no heat is transferred to the cooking pot directly. Thus the temperature of the heat accumulating disk is not effect by the heat dissipating of liquid in the cooking pot. Thereby the heat accumulating effect of the heat accumulating disk is helpful to the heating and temperature retaining of the cooking pot.Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 2004Date of Patent: November 22, 2005Inventors: Rong-Yuan Tseng, Kuo-I Lin

Patent number: 6786440Abstract: A container for blender includes a cup and a stainless steel hollow cylindrical member. The cylindrical member has an L-shaped upper rim and an annular bottom having an L-shaped inner edge. The cylindrical member is integrally fitted in a lower part of the cup when the latter is injection-molded with the L-shaped upper rim and the L-shaped inner edge of the annular bottom imbedded in peripheral wall and bottom wall of the cup, respectively. The cylindrical member protects the cup against direct contacting with and colliding by rigid materials being crushed in the cup, and accordingly eliminates tiny chips of the cup that would otherwise be produced due to such colliding.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 2002Date of Patent: September 7, 2004Inventors: Kuo-I Ling, Rong-Yuan Tseng

Patent number: 6057620Abstract: This invention provides a geometrical structure configuration of maglev forces in a maglev rotational bearing apparatus. The bearing apparatus uses the magnetic forces as the suspension support for the rotational shaft, and utilizes a radial maglev support module to provide two maglev constraint forces perpendicular to and crossing on the axis of rotating shaft and an axial maglev support module to provide three maglev constraint forces parallel to the axis but non-coplanar. From the viewpoint of kinematical geometry, this machine has five linearly independent constraint forces so that the main axis is allowed to be suspended without contact and friction with static elements, and the suspension force in axial direction is better than currently available maglev bearings. The rotational shaft can be driven by a motor to perform high-speed rotational motion with noises free and vibrations free.Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 1999Date of Patent: May 2, 2000Assignees: Precision Instrument Development Center, National Science Council of Republic of ChinaInventors: Fong-Zhi Chen, Rong-Yuan Jou, Hong-Ping Cheng, Yu-Wen Chang, Jin-Shyang Lin

Patent number: 5761993Abstract: A juice-extractor also serving as a grinder suitable for extracting juice from water-containing materials, such as vegetables, fruits, soybeans, and for grinding dry material into powder, such as coffee beans, green beans, nuts. In addition to elements similar to that of a juice-extractor, such as the funnel, the top cover, the lower grinding disc, the meshes-containing filter, the residue collector, the juice flow guider, and the base, the grinder also includes a bag made of air-pervious fabric and a rotational retainer having a closed side wall. When the juice-extractor is to serve as a grinder to grind a dry material into powder, the air-pervious bag is used to replace the residue collector and the rotaional retainer is used to replace the meshes-containing filter, so that powder produced from the grinding can be directly sent into the bag instead of the juice flow guider.Type: GrantFiled: August 14, 1997Date of Patent: June 9, 1998Inventors: Kuo-I Ling, Rong-Yuan Tseng
