Abstract: Disclosed are a power transmission line monitoring system and a power transmission line monitoring method. The monitoring method comprises: acquiring, by means of a functional node, monitoring data related to a power transmission line, and transmitting the monitoring data to an edge node; and receiving the monitoring data by means of the edge node, transmitting the monitoring data to a collection node by means of an edge node chain type communication network, and sending, by the collection node, the data to a master station server. In the application, a self-organized edge node chain type network is formed by means of edge nodes, and data transmission is performed by means of the edge node chain type network, so that problem of poor data transmission caused by impossible coverage of a cellular network can be solved.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method, according to one embodiment, includes receiving, by a server from a client application, a read request for a data block. The method further includes, reading, by the server, data of the data block and checksums associated with the data block, from a data storage drive, and storing, by the server, the data of the data block and the associated checksums in a buffer. A client node is caused, by the server, to use the associated checksums to perform a validity check for the data of the data block and a transmission from the server to the client node. A computer program product, according to another embodiment, includes a computer readable storage medium having program instructions embodied therewith. The program instructions are readable and/or executable by a server to cause the server to perform the foregoing method.

Abstract: The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of biomedicine and, particularly, relates to a use of an MYOG gene as a target in the preparation of a drug for treating a cardiomyocyte apoptosis-associated cardiovascular disease (CVD). By constructing angiotensin II-induced human induced pluripotent stem cell-differentiated cardiomyocyte apoptosis models in vitro, the present disclosure reveals for the first time the role of the transcription factor MYOG in the inhibition of cardiomyocyte apoptosis and provides a theoretical and scientific basis for drug research and development of cardiomyocyte apoptosis-associated CVDs. MYOG gene becomes a new target for CVD drug research and development.

Abstract: A marker and product for auxiliary diagnosis of valvular heart disease (VHD) is provided. The present disclosure provides for the first time using PLAUR as a biomarker for auxiliary diagnosis of VHD. When the PLAUR is used for auxiliary diagnosis, the diagnostic result can be obtained in only one working day (high detection speed) with sensitivity/accuracy is much higher than the sensitivity/accuracy of NT-ProBNP and hsCRP, and a high-throughput operation is enabled.

A cover having sensors for determining body characteristics is coupled with a mobile communications device. An application on the mobile communications device that signals via a communications channel test criteria to an application executing by a processor in the cover. Sensors embedded in the cover are engaged with the subject to detect the subject's body characteristics to determine medical conditions of the subject. Conditions are indicated on the mobile communications device.
