Patent number: 11723360Abstract: By determining the lethality rate to Meloidogyne incognita and Caenorhabditis elegans, it was found that the methylmalonic acid has a better nematicidal effect on the Caenorhabditis elegans, with the LC50 being 13.11 and 1.20 for the Meloidogyne incognita and the Caenorhabditis elegans, respectively. After compounding the methylmalonic acid with betaine, the LC50 was 2.85 and 0.27 for the Meloidogyne incognita and the Caenorhabditis elegans, respectively. Meanwhile, the methylmalonic acid also has an inhibiting effect on Pseudomonas solanacearum and Erwinia carotovora. The preparation of the methylmalonic acid provides a new choice for preparing novel biocontrol agents against the root-knot nematodes.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2020Date of Patent: August 15, 2023Assignee: Hubei Biopesticide Engineering Research CenterInventors: Xiaoyan Liu, Wei Fang, Yong Min, Daye Huang, Ronghua Zhou, Guangyang Zhang, Ben Rao, Xianqing Liao, Fang Liu, Wei Chen, Kaimei Wang, Ziwen Yang, Liqiao Shi

Publication number: 20060242913Abstract: An adjustable roof drain has an extension and a base ring. An adjusting mechanism on an inner surface of the extension engages an adjusting mechanism on an outer surface of the base ring to adjustably set the position of the extension relative to the base ring. Preferably the adjusting mechanisms are threaded connections. A bead of sealant may be placed in a groove that is exposed at the joint between the two parts after the position is set.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 27, 2005Publication date: November 2, 2006Inventor: Ronghua Zhou

Publication number: 20060207919Abstract: An interceptor has an inlet chamber and a solids removing chamber disposed above the inlet chamber. A pump in the inlet chamber pumps effluent though a conduit to the solids removing chamber. A disposable filter at the end of the conduit catches any solids as the effluent passes therethrough. A drain is provided in the solids removing chamber to allow the filtered effluent to return to the inlet chamber. As a result, the filter is kept in a dry place, thus making it easier to change.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 17, 2005Publication date: September 21, 2006Inventor: Ronghua Zhou
