    Abstract: A method and a device for sending a packet based on Tunneling Protocol used in Layer 2 are provided. Specifically, when a traffic flow needs to be sent from a network side to a client via QinQ termination equipment in which the tunneling protocol used in Layer 2 is used, forwarding address information corresponding to the client is obtained by searching a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) snooping binding table according to Internet Protocol (IP) address information of the client in a packet of the traffic flow. The packet of the traffic flow can be sent to the client according to the obtained forwarding address information.
