  • Patent number: 11977162
Abstract: Depth sensors comprising a focal plane array with photosites (PSs) directed in different directions, each PS operable to detect light arriving from an instantaneous field of view (IFOV) of the PS, a readout-set of readout circuitries (ROCs), each ROC coupled to readout-group PSs by multiple switches and operable to output an electric signal indicative of an amount of light impinging on the readout-group PSs when the read-out group is connected to the respective ROC via at least one of the switches, a controller operable to change switching states of the switches, such that at different times different ROCs of the readout-set are coupled to the readout-group and are exposed to reflections from different distances, and a processor operable to obtain the electric signals from the readout-set indicative of detected levels of reflected light collected from the IFOVs of the readout-group and to determine depth information for an object.

  • Patent number: 11929837
Abstract: A classification apparatus includes a memory and a processor. The memory is configured to store rules corresponding to a corpus of rules in respective rule entries, each rule includes a respective set of unmasked bits having corresponding bit values, and at least some of the rules include masked bits. The rules in the corpus conform to respective Rule Patterns (RPs), each RP defining a respective sequence of masked and unmasked bits. The processor is configured to cluster the RPs, using a clustering criterion, into extended Rule Patterns (eRPs) associated with respective hash tables including buckets for storing rule entries. The clustering criterion aims to minimize an overall number of the eRPs while meeting a collision condition that depends on a specified maximal number of rule entries per bucket.

  • Patent number: 7644087
Abstract: A data access system decouples the data processing from the data storage to provide improved accessibility, integrity, scalability and other features. The system comprises: database units arranged in virtual partitions each independently accessible, a plurality of data processing units, and a switching network for switching the data processing units between the virtual partitions, thereby to assign data processing capacity dynamically to respective virtual partitions.

  • Patent number: 6712180
Abstract: A sawhorse includes an elongated workpiece supporting structure and a pair of leg assemblies joined to the workpiece supporting structure, which enables the leg assemblies to be moved between a folded position for storage and transportation purposes and an operative position. Connecting structure connects the leg assemblies to retain the leg assemblies in the operative position thereof and to allow movement of the leg assemblies between the operative and folded positions thereof. Each leg assembly includes a pair of separate lower leg members and is mounted for independent movement in a generally vertical direction and adjusted to a plurality of different positions with respect to the associated leg assembly and the connecting structure while the pair of the leg assemblies are retained in the operative position thereof by the connecting structure. A releasable locking member for each leg member is mounted in the connecting structure for movement between a releasing position and a locking position.

  • Patent number: 5240503
Abstract: A system for treating a surface, such as the outside surfaces of a tall building which can be operated remotely without the need to place a worker in close proximity of the surface to be treated. The system includes a vertical supporting column onto which is mounted a treatment unit. The treatment unit can carry out washing, painting, sandblasting, and similar operations and includes mechanisms for allowing the working head of the unit to be angles with respect to, as well as to move parallel to and perpendicular to, the surface being treated. In another embodiment, a window cleaning unit is suspended from the roof and is allowed to descent while cleaning the exterior surfaces of the windows.
