Abstract: A webpage editor which supports user editing of webpages of a website building system includes at least one processor and a unit running on the at least one processor. The webpages have visually isolated components and overlapped components and visually obscured components. The unit includes an input method handler, a visual editor and an editor overlap handler. The input method handler receives the user selected point or region of the webpage from an input device. The visual editor changes the view of the components proximal or interacting with a user selected point or region of a webpage, from a webpage view to a webpage editing view, the webpage editing view being one of 2D, 3D or side view. The editor overlap handler adjusts the visual characteristics of the components within the webpage editing view, according to component relationships and at least one of website information, user information, object properties or activation rules.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for validating event scenarios using reference readings obtained from a plurality of sensors associated with one or more predefined event scenarios. If a reading from a first sensor satisfies a reference reading of the first sensor for at least one identified scenario in a scenario library, at least one additional sensor is identified from the identified scenario and a reading is obtained from the additional sensors. The identified scenario is validated when the readings of the additional sensors satisfy the reference reading for the additional sensors from the identified scenario. A confidence level is optionally determined based on the readings of the sensors in the identified scenario. The readings of the sensors are optionally monitored over time to update the confidence level of the identified scenario.

A system and method for managing cloud-based infrastructure may include associating a set of resources with a respective set of tags and including the tags in at least one of the objects to thus produce a modified object. A modified object may be used to create or update an infrastructure.

Abstract: When using Web intelligence (“Webint”) to collect information regarding a target social network user, one of the most valuable pieces of information is the target user's List-Of-Friends (LOF). In some cases, however, the LOF of the target user is not accessible in his profile. Herein are described methods and systems for identifying the LOF of a target user. An analysis system crawls the profiles of social network users, other than the target user, and reconstructs the LOF of the target user from the crawled profiles.

Abstract: A request may be received from a second client device to connect to a running virtual machine instance of a virtual machine while a first client device is connected to the running virtual machine instance. The second client device may be connected to the running virtual machine instance in response to receiving the request from the second client device. Furthermore, a connection between the first client device and the running virtual machine instance of the virtual machine may be converted from a primary mode to a secondary mode.

Abstract: A containerized storage microservice is described. The containerized storage microservice, and its corresponding architecture, provide an environment wherein an application container accesses containerized storage services through a direct connection. This allows the operating system file system to be effectively bypassed in the provision of storage services. In one example, a library provides a basic file system and is arranged underneath the application container. The library essentially intercepts storage requests and emulates a thin file system. Instead of invoking the kernel of the operating system to process each storage request, the library allows the storage request to bypass the kernel and pass the storage request to the storage microservice. The containerized storage microservices are available in different types, and are configured so that they can be stacked to provide customized sets of storage services to different types of application containers.

Abstract: The pharmaceutical compositions described herein include a suspension which comprises an admixture in solid form of a therapeutically effective amount of a therapeutic agent and at least one salt of a medium chain fatty acid and a hydrophobic medium, e.g. castor oil or glyceryl tricaprylate or a mixture thereof. The pharmaceutical compositions described herein contain medium chain fatty acid salts and are substantially free of alcohols. The pharmaceutical compositions may be encapsulated in a capsule. Methods of treating or preventing diseases by administering such compositions to affected subjects are also disclosed.

Abstract: A system configured to implement detection, modeling and application of memory bandwidth patterns may predict performance of multi-threaded applications with different thread placements. Additionally, such a system may model bandwidth requirements of an application based on placement of the application's threads and may generate a bandwidth signature by sampling performance counters while executing the application using specific thread placement and determining values for multiple classes of bandwidth, such as static, local, per-thread and interleaved. Performance counters may information such as elapsed time, number of instructions executed, and/or the volume of data read or written to each memory bank. A bandwidth signature may be used to apply bandwidth requirements to differing thread placements within various types of systems, such as performance prediction systems, data structure libraries, as well as debugging and development systems.

Speech analytics are applied to each audio file transcription. A best transcription is selected from the plurality of transcription alternatives for each audio file. Statistics from the selected best transcription are calculated. An adapted model is created from the calculated statistics.

The nozzle attachment channels the heated air from the hair dryer opening to and out of a narrowed slotted opening in the nozzle attachment. The device comprises a heat conductive element configured to be securely seated on an interior surface of the nozzle attachment at a position adjacent the narrow slotted opening in the nozzle attachment without substantially impeding heated air from exiting the slotted opening. The heat conductive element is of sufficient dimensions to substantially maintain hot air exit temperature from the hair dryer opening as it exits the slotted opening of the nozzle attachment, without significant heating of the nozzle attachment.
