Abstract: A hypodermic syringe and needle disposal container ("disposal container") is disclosed. The disposal container comprises a plastic hinged case sized for encasing the majority of sizes of hypodermic syringes, with needles. Two securing tabs, opposite the hinge, secure the case in the closed position, thus securing the contents in the disposal container and preventing any contact with the secured contents by the handler. The disposal containers further includes a seal along its interior border for inhibiting fluids from leaking from the container. The disposal containers are retrieved by messengers for disposal in designated sites.
