  • Patent number: 11821511
Abstract: A monitoring system for a travel drive includes a rotational speed sensor of a hydrostatic motor. The rotational speed sensor is configured to determine acceleration. At least one signal from a pressure sensor mounted on at least one working line that connects a pump to the hydrostatic motor of a hydrostatic travel drive is evaluated. The pressure sensor is preferably arranged on at least one working connection of the pump. The system uses the additional pressure signal to evaluate in a reliable manner whether the hydrostatic travel drive generates an unwanted drive torque.

    Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbH

  • Patent number: 11434994
Abstract: In a hydraulic motor and a hydrostatic traction drive with such a hydraulic motor, the regulating of the displacement of the hydraulic motor is done via a pilot-operated pressure regulator. The feedforward controller calculates an estimated motor displacement and relays this to the pressure regulator.

  • Patent number: 10955052
Abstract: In a drive unit which has an axial piston pump and an electronic control unit, the axial piston pump is pivoted with a method in which pressure-reducing valves which act in opposition to one another are suddenly energized. Since in this respect no orifices are provided in the adjustment device, a so-called initiation jump of the excited current gives rise to a sudden reduction in the assigned actuating pressure or the actuating pressure difference formed therefrom. Then, a zero crossover jump of the excited current or of the excited currents is carried out in order to overcome the centering spring and therefore ensure a continuous zero crossover of the axial piston pump. Furthermore, a hydrostatic traction drive includes such a drive unit.

  • Publication number: 20200003206
Abstract: A hydrostatic axial piston pump for a hydrostatic traction drive has an adjusting unit for adjusting the stroke volume. The adjusting unit has an actuating cylinder with two counteracting actuating pressure chambers. An actuating pressure can be set in each actuating pressure chamber via a separate pressure reducing valve, the said actuating pressure depending on and preferably being proportional to a current intensity on a respective solenoid of the respective pressure reducing valve. The two current intensities can be calculated via an electronic control unit on a model basis as a function of a speed and of an operating pressure of the axial piston pump and as a function of an operating element for a driver's request, e.g. an accelerator pedal.

  • Publication number: 20200003303
Abstract: A hydrostatic traction drive includes a hydraulic pump for supplying pressure medium to a hydraulic motor of the traction drive. The hydraulic pump has an actuation cylinder with at least one cylinder space and a swept volume which can be adjusted thereby. At least one electrically actuable pressure valve is provided, by means of which an actuation pressure which has an adjusting effect can be applied to the cylinder space. In addition, the traction drive has a device by means of which a pressure of the hydraulic pump can be limited by influencing the actuation pressure.
