  • Patent number: 8302669
Abstract: A louver for an air-conduction housing of a motor vehicle air-conditioning system includes a plurality of regions. The plurality of regions are arranged directly adjacent to one another to facilitate air stratification and are subdivided by partitions which are part of the louver. At least one of the regions is configured as a drum-type louver.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 10, 2009
Date of Patent: November 6, 2012
Assignee: BEHR GmbH & Co. KG

  • Patent number: 7585209
Abstract: The invention relates to an air-conditioning device and to a method for the operation of an air-conditioning device. The aim of the invention is to improve current air-conditioning devices such that a desired level of temperature inside the motor vehicle changes as little as possible and the windows are kept mist-free. As a result, each bypass channel, which guides the heat exchanger to an air outlet channel, is associated with a mixing flap in order to control the warm air flow passing through the bypass channel.

  • Publication number: 20090209189
Abstract: The invention relates to an air-conditioning system comprising a temperature sensing valve. The aim of the invention is to improve air-conditioning systems such that the intermixing of different temperature air currents can be improved by means of an advantageous embodiment of the temperature sensing valve.

  • Publication number: 20060151162
Abstract: The invention relates to a louvre (6) for an air-conduction housing (7) of a motor vehicle air-conditioning system (1). The invention is characterised in that the louvre (6) comprises several regions (16, 17) that directly adjoin one another to facilitate air stratification, said regions being separated by partitions that form part of the louvre (6).
