  • Publication number: 20070217978
Abstract: According to the invention, the emission of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) from the exhaust-gas system of diesel motors with particle filters can be minimized or prevented. During the regeneration of the particle filter, the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) are first fixed in adsorption layers and are cracked there at high temperatures. The cracking products are then preferably eliminated in an oxidation step.
