The method includes determining power profile of a target device; determining historical behavior of at least one user in relation to the target device; considering the historical behavioral data of the at least one user in relation to the target device based on the determined power profile of the target device; and using rules to select at least one of a plurality of approaches for establishing connection with a server in relation to a result of the considering.

A peer list is updated if a transaction between said spy node and said suspect node is successful. If the transaction is not successful; the method is started from the beginning if it is necessary to continue initialization process. On the other hand, if the transaction is not successful and if it is not necessary to continue the initialization process the execution is terminated.

Abstract: A computer system according to the present invention comprises at least two CPUs; at least one shared system resource accessible to each of the CPUs; and shared memory shared by the CPUs. The shared memory has therein a resource locking table, comprising memory elements. Each of the memory elements is designated for being written to by only one of the at least two CPUs.
