  • Patent number: 10505995
Abstract: A wireless device transmits, to a second wireless device via an internet protocol multimedia subsystem (IMS) network entity, a session initiation protocol (SIP) invitation. The SIP invitation may comprise a session description protocol (SDP). The SDP may comprise a media type and one or more attributes. The media type may identify a protocol for controlling operational orders. The controlling operational orders may comprise at least: mechanical operational orders; and electrical operational orders. The one or more attributes may identify a format of the protocol to establish a SIP session. The wireless device may receive, from the second wireless device via the IMS network entity, a SIP confirmation for the SIP session. The wireless device may control the second wireless device employing the controlling operational orders identified by the media type.

  • Patent number: 10425450
Abstract: A first wireless device transmits to a second wireless device, a SIP REGISTER message comprising a first Contact header field comprising an internet Protocol multimedia subsystem (IMS) identifier identifying a mission critical video capability of the first wireless device. The second wireless device transmits to an IMS network entity, a second SIP REGISTER message comprising a second Contact header field comprising the IMS identifier. The IMS network entity identifies a mission critical application server (MC AS) and registers the first wireless device to the MC AS. The MC AS: receives a SIP request from the IMS network entity for the first wireless device; determines that a mission critical video service can be established employing the SIP request and the mission critical video capability; and transmits the SIP request to the first wireless device via the second wireless device.

  • Patent number: 10412013
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for reporting information in real time about traffic generated by each application for a device are described. In one aspect, the network can configure a list of applications user equipment (UE) devices need to report traffic information for and then when one of these applications starts a communication, the UE may send traffic descriptor(s) describing the traffic generated by the application. In this way the network can accurately identify the traffic and take actions based on UE report and local policy or subscription.

  • Publication number: 20190241179
Abstract: A first off-network wireless device discovers a second off-network wireless device and a third off-network wireless device. The first off-network wireless device transmits first media traffic employing a first session to the third off-network wireless device. The first off-network wireless device receives a floor request message from the second off-network wireless device. The floor request message comprises an organization field identifier and an organization identifier. The first off-network wireless device determines a call priority based on the organization field identifier and the organization identifier. Based on the call priority, transmission of the first media traffic to the third off-network wireless device is terminated. The first off-network wireless device starts transmission of second media traffic to the second off-network wireless device employing a second session.

  • Patent number: 10021621
Abstract: The disclosure provides a mechanism where a user equipment (UE) may communicate with a neighbor UE of the UE's neighbor UE by utilizing the UE's neighbor UE as a relay for the communication between the UE and the neighbor UE of the UE's neighbor UE. In an aspect, the first UE receives a discovery message from a second UE, the discovery message including information about 1-hop neighbor UEs of the second UE. The first UE determines to communicate with a third UE based on the discovery message, the third UE being one of the 1-hop neighbor UEs of the second UE. The first UE requests the second UE to operate as a relay for communication between the first UE and the third UE. The first UE communicates with the third UE through the second UE.
