Abstract: A building system, method and components are provided. A beam has two or more co-extensive planar lengthwise portions, each planar lengthwise portion defining a pitch of a different adjacent side of a roof. A connector assembly is provided for cooperatively connecting to the beam, where the connector assembly includes a support member, and one or more tabs extending radially from the support member. A plane of the tab corresponds to an angle of a hip or ridge or valley between respective different adjacent sides of the roof. The tab connects to the support member, and includes a connection receiving portion for connecting to the beam. The beam is cantilevered away from the connector assembly when cooperatively connected thereto.
