Abstract: An apparatus is provided including a shaft, a head connected to the shaft, and a connector capable of connecting the head to a supported object, such as an archery bow. The head is connected to the shaft to allow pivoting movement between the shaft and the head at a joint in pivotally in three dimensions. In one embodiment, the connector further includes a vibration and noise damper with a magnetic connection adapted to releaseably connect to the head. The connection between the head and the connector may allow axial rotation there between. A brake assembly controls extension of the shaft.
