    Abstract: A stylet retraction system, the stylet retraction system comprising a stylet extending from a reel, where the reel is configured to move in a manner effecting longitudinal position change of the stylet along a longitudinal axis of the stylet, a needle at least partially surrounding the stylet, and a handle configured to effect longitudinal movement of the needle along a longitudinal axis of the needle, wherein the handle is rotatable with respect to the reel, and wherein an axis of rotation of the handle and an axis of rotation of the reel each is not coaxial with respect to the longitudinal axis of the stylet nor with respect to the longitudinal axis of the needle.
