Abstract: The present invention relates to Amido-Substituted Pyrimidinone Derivatives of Formula (I), and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 are as defined herein. The present invention also relates to compositions comprising at least one Amido-Substituted Pyrimidinone Derivative, and methods of using the Amido-Substituted Pyrimidinone Derivatives for treating or preventing HIV infection in a subject.

Abstract: A food composition comprising soy whey proteins that have been isolated from processing streams, wherein the food composition is used to form a baked or extruded food product. A process for recovering and isolating soy whey proteins and other components from soy processing streams is also disclosed.

Abstract: This invention is directed to a molded, pressed, low animal fat substitute cheese composition, comprising; moisture in an amount that is at least about 50% by weight of the cheese composition, and (A) a vegetable protein material; (B) a vegetable oil triglyceride; and (C) a hydrocolloid. In another embodiment, the molded, pressed, low animal fat substitute cheese compositions further comprises at least one component selected from the group consisting of (D) a cheese flavorant and (E) a starch.

Abstract: Images comprised of silver such as X-rays and electrophoresis gel bands, wherein the size and darkness of the image provides useful information, are quantitated utilizing a spectrophotometer to quantify the silver which comprises the image. An image is isolated from X-ray film or an electrophoresis gel followed by removal therefrom of any silver which is present. The removed silver is complexed to cause an optical change. A spectrophotomer is then used to measure the absorbance and the absorbance measurement is compared with a calibrated reference standard.
