Abstract: The invention relates to a novel galenical system for taste masking, protecting an active substance, in particular in an acid medium, modulating releasing properties, masking mucous irritability and toxicity of certain active substances, for preparing aqueous forms which have a masked taste, are stable and pH independent. Said invention also relates, in particular to a galenical system which is embodied in the form of lipidic solid particles and strictly hydrophobic and devoid of water, surface active agents, emulsifiers, solvent traces and which is characterized in that it comprises at least one type of hydrophobic wax and at least one type of fatty non-neutralised acid.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a novel hydrophobic galenic system allowing improved masking of the taste of the active ingredients it contains, the stability of said active ingredients and, when applicable, sustained release thereof. The galenic system of the invention consists of lipid particles with no surfactants or emulsifiers, comprising a lipid hydrophobic matrix that is non-ionizable at physiological pH in which the active ingredient(s) are dispersed. This system is suitable for the preparation of pharmaceutical or veterinary compositions, in particular for administration via oral route or via injection.

Abstract: The invention concerns an anhydrous solid composition comprising at least a hydrophobic wax, an oil and talcum, having preferably the form of beads with size ranging from 1 to 10000 microns. The beads can contain a cosmetic or pharmaceutical active principle, pigments or an agri-food constituent. The invention also concerns the method for preparing said beads.
