Abstract: A hair arranging accessory in the form of a flattened annulus or band of semirigid sheet material can be opened to receive a strand of hair and compressed to grip the strand. An inside surface portion of the annulus is provided with a gripping surface to inhibit slipping of the strand, and a pin is projected through apertures in the annulus wall and the hair of a user. The accessory affords means to form an instant and secure hairdo as well as a solid, attractive base for attachment of a hairpiece.
