  • Publication number: 20260000456
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that can enable improved detection of a position within a body lumen at which a therapy is delivered and improved labelling of patient data sets. A system includes a first flexible elongate instrument comprising a plurality of imaging markers and a second flexible elongate instrument, comprising a therapeutic delivery device, configured for relative movement with respect to the first instrument. A treatment activation sensor is included to detect an activation energy associated with delivery of a therapy by the therapeutic delivery device. The system further includes a processor configured to establish a reference coordinate system based on the plurality of imaging markers, receive therapeutic delivery information at a plurality of locations in the body lumen from a location information sensor, and correlate the therapeutic delivery information with the detected activation energy to determine a position of the delivered therapy based on the reference coordinate system.

  • Publication number: 20250176852
Abstract: Systems and methods for measuring relative displacement between at least two flexible elongate instruments within a body lumen are provided. A system includes a first flexible elongate instrument comprising a plurality of spatial encoding markers and a second flexible elongate instrument comprising two detectors. Each detector comprises a single element sensor configured to obtain a signal from the spatial encoding markers. The single element sensor of one of the two detectors is offset from the single element sensor of the other of the two detectors. The first and second flexible elongate instruments are configured for relative movement within a body lumen. The system further includes a controller configured to measure relative displacement of the first and second flexible elongate instruments based on the signals obtained from the two detectors and a detected offset of the obtained signals.

  • Publication number: 20250127617
Abstract: Systems and methods for the placement of an endoluminal device are provided. A delivery system for endoluminal devices includes a delivery catheter comprising an imaging sensor and a position sensor. The position sensor is located at a known distance from the imaging sensor and configured to sense relative position to an element with a position code that is readable by the position sensor. The delivery catheter is configured for mounting an endoluminal device on the delivery catheter at a known distance from the imaging sensor or position sensor. The imaging sensor, the position sensor, or both the imaging sensor and the position sensor can be used for intravascular imaging of an anatomical location, guidance for deployment of the endoluminal device, confirmation of the placement of the endoluminal device at the anatomical location, or any combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20220175269
Abstract: Systems and methods for locating a medical device in a body lumen are provided. A first flexible elongate instrument comprises a plurality of imaging markers, and a location information sensor is disposed at the first flexible elongate instrument or at a second flexible elongate instrument configured for relative movement with respect to the first flexible elongate instrument. A processor is configured to establish a reference coordinate system based on the plurality of imaging markers, which are visible in a medical image comprising the first flexible elongate instrument disposed in a body lumen, receive diagnostic scan or therapeutic delivery information at a plurality of locations of the body lumen from the first or second flexible elongate instrument, and correlate the information with the imaging markers. A display configured to display a composite image comprising the correlated diagnostic scan or therapeutic delivery information and the imaging markers.
