Abstract: The litter box comprises a collapsible, corrugated housing made from a tubular, pleated wall which is closed at one end by a first panel, and which is secured at its opposite to a second panel having an opening for permitting animal ingress and egress to and from the housing, when the latter has been stretched into its expanded or erected position. A flexible curtain covers the opening when the housing is erected and is disposed to be pushed aside by an animal entering or leaving the housing. The housing may contain particulate kitty litter matter and can be disposed of, when the kitty litter has been exhausted, simply by collapsing and securing the housing in its collapsed mode. In one embodiment a cover panel is hingedly connected to the panel containing the engress/egress opening.
