Abstract: The present invention relates to a new and novel method of preparing and sculpting a fireable ceramic mixture and to the novel mixture itself, which comprises generally of adding cellulose fibers, that can be obtained from recycled or other papers to a liquid slip clay, resulting in a product mixture that is much lighter in weight and has stronger green strength. This resulting product mixture allows its use wet and/or dry and with the ability to vary the maturing temperature as desired.
