Patent number: 11954945Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for analyzing vibration data and for identifying and tracking vibration anomalies in industrial machines are described. In various embodiments, the system described herein collects, transforms, and analyzes sensor data from one or more machines, such as industrial machines. The system may identify one or more sensors that are experiencing vibrational anomalies. In various embodiments, the system: collects and analyzes vibration data for a set of one or more vibration-related sensors of one or more industrial machines; determines an occurrence of one or more anomalies based on the vibration data as compared to a threshold; tracks anomalies in collected vibration data for the one or more industrial machines of the facility; generates a report of vibration data for the one or more vibration-related sensors of the facility; and reports industrial machines in the facility that may deviate from a target performance.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 2022Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: Georgia-Pacific LLCInventors: Samuel Lee Coyne, Roshan Shah

Publication number: 20230334544Abstract: Embodiments provide for dynamic generation and updating of quote data objects using machine learning. An example apparatus is configured to receive a quote request and parse the quote request to extract one or more quote parameters. The example apparatus is further configured to determine, based at least in part the one or more quote parameters and by querying a plurality of repositories that are each updated periodically or in real-time, available inventory associated with the product identifier, and to determine a set of alternative quote values for the product identifier. The example apparatus is further configured to generate, using a first trained machine learning model and based at least in part on the available inventory and the set of alternative quote values, a first quote feature for the quote request and a confidence score, and to cause transmission of a quote data object to a user device.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 5, 2022Publication date: October 19, 2023Inventors: Graham Bryant, Eliana Estrada, Sasanka Gandavarapu, Scott Jones, Dave Klekamp, Alex Lockwood, Varsha Monick, Jon Moss, Dade Pendergraft, Karthikeyan Ramasamy, Roshan Shah

Publication number: 20230204463Abstract: Disclosed are approaches for analyzing vibration data to determine and mitigate an occurrence of an anomaly with respect to an industrial machine. In one embodiment, time-series vibration data is received from a sensor measuring vibration of a machine. First outliers are detected in a short-term window of the time-series vibration data. Second outliers are detected in a long-term window of the time-series vibration data. The sensor is determined to be associated with an anomaly based at least in part on a quantity of the first outliers and a quantity of the second outliers.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 27, 2023Publication date: June 29, 2023Inventors: David Walter Hutcherson, II, Samuel Lee Coyne, Roshan Shah

Patent number: 11566974Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for analyzing vibration data to determine and mitigate an occurrence of an anomaly at an industrial asset. A device may obtain and preprocess vibration data, which may include grouping the vibration data according to respective time intervals, and the device may filter the grouped data to obtain the most recent measurement readings. The device may use an anomaly detection algorithm to detect outliers in the datasets for each group of vibration data and compare an amplitude of the outliers to a threshold for the respective group. The device may determine that the vibration data includes an anomaly based on quantities of outliers in first and second subsets of the vibration data that are within a detection window. The device may generate a report including an indication of the anomaly and transmit the report to an operator or engineer for the facility.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 2021Date of Patent: January 31, 2023Assignee: Georgia-Pacific LLCInventors: David Walter Hutcherson, II, Samuel Lee Coyne, Roshan Shah

Patent number: 10583278Abstract: A surgical drain system includes a drain tube and an obturator configured for insertion in a wound. The obturator can be either solid or hollow, and be positioned inside the drain tube. Alternatively, the obturator can surround the drain tube. The obturator can prevent or limit penetration of a needle through the drain tube as the wound is closed around the drain tube with a suture. In addition, the obturator provides a support that holds the shape of the drain tube during wound closure so that the drain tube is not deformed or crimped by the suture. The obturator can include one or more cutting elements for severing sutures that pierce the drain tube. The one or more cutting elements can also sever or loosen sutures that constrict or otherwise impinge upon the drain tube.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2014Date of Patent: March 10, 2020Assignee: The Trustees of the University of PennsylvaniaInventors: Roshan Shah, Jaimo Ahn
