Abstract: Disclosed is a system for facilitating a user to organize an event via a social networking platform. A parameters detail receiving module receives pertaining to a set of profile parameters corresponding to each user of a plurality of users associated with a social networking platform. An event creation module enables a user, of the plurality of users, to create an event on the social networking platform. A user determination module determines a set of users of the plurality of users for sending an invitation to attend the event, wherein the set of users is determined based on correlation of the set of profile parameters with the plurality of event parameters. An invitation module sends the invitation to the set of users for attending the event and an acknowledgment to a subset of the set of users based on acceptance to the invitation by the subset.
